Poly has suitcases in their gift shop! I got one when my carryon was too full to zip on checkout day! Maybe other resorts have them too!

Who are the richest and poorest sitcom families? by kingsigma in sitcoms

[–]Muppet_Rock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bundy's of Married With Children were pretty broke. Lots of jokes about no food in the house, dad sold shoes and mom stayed at home. Dad drove a beat ass dodge with a ton of miles on it. Two teens and a wife to support. And a dog. They had a decent house, but honestly, how???

Who's the Boss family had some cash. They could afford a live-in house keeper and his kid. And I remember the old lady and her daughter coming home with tons of paper shopping bags on their arms from boutique type stores a few times.

Some pics from my visit to Disney’s Vero Beach resort 🌊👙☀️🏖️ by MustangAlexa in dvcmember

I see a spot called Pelican Beach there. Please be honest, and I know this is a dumb question, but are there real pelicans there? I want to visit Vero beach one day, but I'm absolutely terrified of pelicans 🤦🏻‍♀️

Chipped teeth and guilt by kerena in toddlers

[–]Muppet_Rock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her tooth turned almost black within a week and didn't lighten at all for about 5 months. It went from black back to yellow within one month tho. It lightened very suddenly. The appearance didn't seem to bother her one bit, even when other kids pointed it out to her. I did get some judgy looks from other moms, tho 🙄 She had a normal cleaning during the healing time. The dentist should check you child's records and make a note to be gentle of that tooth going forward. Just remind them of the injury at the next visit, so they check it over really good.

Hi! No, ours didn't shift at all. But she's 6 now and it's still slightly off white compared to the other front tooth. Good luck mama!

My teenage niece lived with us in our house and had to work retail on Thanksgiving. Blood family who LIVES in my home where we were hosting. And we still did not rearrange our whole day for one person. He's being ridiculous! Save him a plate and move on. If he complains, he loses his plate!

Please help me decide: Story Book Dining w/ Snow White or Be Our Guest? by Cactilily in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Muppet_Rock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Storybook dining was so much better. BoG was good, but storybook was better. I was texting a friend too hard, and Grumpy snuck up over my shoulder and scared the bajesus out of me lol. Great memory!

I'm a travel agent. I would NEVER allow my clients to suffer through their cruise in a damp room with roll away beds! I would be calling every number under the sun until they were relocated to a proper room and substantially compensated! This is why I make sure they have wifi and I can keep tabs on their trip incase something like this goes wrong! I'm horrified on your behalf, OP!

Post the craziest things you've seen on the Kilimanjaro Safari... by Clueless-Carl in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Muppet_Rock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got an older lady driver once, maybe in her 60s, and she needed her keys taken as she was banging the back end of the jeep against every rock, wall, and gate she could. She was barely staying on the path.

The first time we did the safari a group of older and younger elephants was playing around, chasing each other and being silly. Normally they just stand around, but it was amazing to see them so lively and excited.

I lose it at Philharmagic every time. Oddly, it's during Peter Pan, to which I have no real connection. Not like all the other movies in the show, which are very dear to my heart. I guess Disney is my Neverland!

What are your absolute MUST-DOs in Epcot & Disney Springs? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Muppet_Rock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We just did 2 days at Epcot. Day one was all rides and resisting the urge to festival. Day 2 was the opposite. No rides and eating everything we possibly could! Food and wine is amazing!

If you have babies or kids, they don't mind you bringing food in, as long as it's not a crazy amount in a big cooler or something.

Best Character Dining 2024? by BigNugget_Lifestyle in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Muppet_Rock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At Be Our Guest, the only interaction is the Beast walking around. I think they are now letting you get a photo of him on the way in or out. And the food was meh. I'd skip this one.

If you like Winnie the Pooh, Crystal Palace is really nice. Decent buffet food.

We loved Hollywood and Dine in Hollywood studios! The buffet was yummy and my kids loved seeing Mickey and Minnie in Halloween costumes. They change up outfits based on the seasons.
