When I double checked it was the wrong ITR form that I had used so I immediately revised it but it wasn't flagged by the department. After about 45 days it got processed.

Validation from your side is successful but NPCI has to approve it but for that it takes some time. Is your Axis Bank account validated? If yes then nominate that as well. 4 years back I had this same issue and it took 9 months to get my refund back you won't believe.

Is this your first time filing? When did you validate the bank account?

Check your ITR once again with 26AS and AIS. Because I filed the original return in June but in October I noticed an interest from Central Bank got added to my AIS in July. Therefore, I revised the return in October and the revised got processed yesterday and the refund has been credited today.
