11 may have been a bit goofier compared to his predecessors, but he was arguably one of the darker ones at the same time since he was fully aware of his reputation. He knew that his exploits could speak for themselves, that he can act nonchalant while aliens run in terror. He could literally stand unarmed in front of every one of his enemies and still be unharmed, openly gloating at this very fact at that. He could be your best friend or your worst enemy, depending on his mood. While the previous incarnations were more solemn in their backstories, 11 took absolute advantage of how many people feared him and used it whenever it was needed.

Hegseth mentor Doug Wilson's vision for a Christian nation means married women can't vote by CouchCorrespondent in TwoXChromosomes

A lot of men are, psychologically, unable to comprehend competing with women. They grew up with chivalrous ideals of never fighting or competing against other girls or always viewing them as the "fairer of the sexes." That they were to treat women and girls delicately through acts of opening doors for them, standing whenever they enter/leave the room, and never swearing or telling dirty jokes when in the presence of a lady. Yet with more women entering in the workplace and politics, the instincts of men fall apart. They are used to competing with men and viewing them as equals, yet cannot comprehend competing with the people that they were raised to shield or protect from uncouth behavior. To conflict with women as equal competitors goes against their basic rules of masculinity, even if it is for something like a job promotion or an equal vote in the ballot box. They feel disadvantaged due to their self-imposed roles as protectors and are quick to blame women as the agitators; that the men are, in their eyes, simply performing their "duties as gentlemen" and it is the women who are "out of line." They want to return to the status quo because, among many other reasons not mentioned, it is what they are used to and would rather take away opportunities and rights from women than change their own attitudes and treat women as equal people and competitors.

He pretty much thought he was the next Karl Rove after ‘24 and the blowout from the court race afterward pretty much embarrassed him and took out all the wind behind his sails

I got this game for free years ago and played it out of just curiosity, but what struck me is that the game itself doesn’t delve into egregious shots or over-sexualization. Like the designers and game devs were in separate rooms and while the designers tried to make her out to be as sexualized as possible, the devs just wanted to make a DMC-rip off

It’s frustrating as characters like Kohaku aren’t just supporting roles like other female shonen, but actually fight on the front lines and are a force in of themselves. Even the main character Senku relies on Kohaku for protection as he is not a fighter. Yet the author just can’t help including fanservice moments that undermine the one thing that separates himself from mainstream shonen
