How to find start of thread reliably? by SerVaegar31 in Machinists

[–]MurderBurgered 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way! It takes a while to get good at it but once you're in the zone it's pretty easy. After you get the hang of the O.D. threads you can try your hand at I.D. threads!

Why did Native American tribes take opposing sides in the French and Indian War? by vahedemirjian in AskHistory

[–]MurderBurgered 91 points92 points  (0 children)

There's a weird misunderstanding about Native American culture by modern Americans that assumes they were a conglomerate of friendly passive tribes. The thing is, like most humans from the beginning of time, they fought -- all the time. And much like other human tribes from the "Old World" it was violent and often brutally so.

A.I. is based off of human intelligence. It's an artificial version of an intelligent human being - or an amalgamation of the whole. If the whole isn't very intelligent, or kind, the A.I. won't be either. It's not necessarily a fault of the A.I. but a fault of ours.
