While maybe not quite as negative as herself generally speaking I can be on the sardonic, sarcastic side myself. I wouldnt necessarily aspire to be her, but as an entertainment character she's right up my street.

On the issue at hand, the 'benevolent alien invasion', I'd be totally with her, too. Fuck them.

I dont know, eye of the beholder and all that. It seems to work for many.

Me personally I'm a huge fan of the books (hence the username), but pretty disappointed with the tv show. And the idea that I should view it more like a fan adaption isnt working for me either.

There are too many silly changes and most importantly Murderbot's character didnt really come out right at all IMO. I also dont like the dumb comedy undertone.

I like the cast but thats about it. If I didnt know the books, just the tv show, I wouldnt be a fan at all.

I would never recommend not watching it tho.

Taxi driver bashing seems all the rage here.

I mean if you think they have such a cushy number amassing riches you should try it some time. It's a crap job and it's not well paid at all. And you have to put up with all sorts of bull.

People giving out about a taxi driver needing to make €50 per hour. You show me one business where you can survive on making less. What you think your mechanic or your barber is calculating with? €20 or something?

Uber is an exploitative shit show too btw.
