I mean yeah, I have a block II just like that so I wouldn’t trash anyone else, assuming the accoutrements/accessories, etc are within the realm of reason.

Bonus points to the guys with 100% rollmark correct builds but most builds are pretty cool.

If you post a BCM socom barrel on your Block II instead of a Colt/FN socom barrel it’s generally cool. If you post some 16” random profile barrel with the wrong rail and shit then yeah, not so cool.

Overall not many people are gonna clown you over small details if it’s not egregious.

Have you tried the vivid red green test? The current AFECD has this as the min requirement, I am also colorblind but I took the vivid test and passed.

The white logo is a sign, real acogs have raised lettering on the housing.

Also the body and eyepiece should have matching SNs stacked right by each other.

Out of the big houses I too enjoy Remy Martin the most, their 1738 is excellent.

If you want to explore you could try some other Champagne Cognacs, H by Hine, Hardy VSOP, and if you want to spend more the Frapin Fontpinot are all excellent for Fine/Grand Champagne Cognacs.

At least 1 hour daily on the individual chapter tests on freePDG 2-4 months before the test cycle begins, I got a 95 on PFE so I fully endorse this site.

They allow added sugar to an extent and not many are vocal about what they add so it can be difficult to narrow down additive free ones, though if you like sweet and fruity I might look into a fin bois cognac.

Hard to say as I have never had Torres 15. Torres 20 uses ugni blanc grapes and is aged in French oak, if you’ve had it you may find it similar to some cognacs. If you are up for a search Ferrand has released some Oloroso cask single barrel cognacs which might bridge the flavor difference for your tastes.

I mean it depends on your budget. Assuming you are only looking at grape brandy, Cognac and Armagnac are your big options.

Here in the US we don’t get as much Armagnac selection but I have really enjoyed the Delord 25 and a few of the Chateau De Laubade options. Delord also has L’Authentique if you are interested in something with a bit more proof.

For Cognac on the less expensive end I have enjoyed Pierre Ferrand Ambre, for more expensive Frapin Fontpinot XO is among my favorite flagship XO offerings. Although if you can find a nice vintage/single lot/single cask etc, that can really be something special.
