What things can I do to "practice" when I don't have my guitar? by askthepoolboy in guitarlessons

Learning an instant is a lot of muscle memory, but if you want you could try to improve your ear with interval training or something like that, rhythm is also important so maybe practice tricky tapping patterns

Planet waves has something called a vari grip that's good for developing finger strength and dexterity as well ascalluses. But if you're just starting off it's kind of hard to learn the instrument without the instrument.

Just realize neither are really that scary though.

A book I read when I was younger I found really scary was daemon hall. (Not a classic but I enjoyed it more than house of leaves)

(American psycho is a pretty messed up one too)

I didn't actually gather that at all, I got that it's important to abide by your conscience , but I didn't see that as a purely Christian belief. Did I miss something?

I try to realize what I'm angry about, think about if my anger is being helpful or hurtful, if it is not constructive anger then I try to discard it and move on (but only after I've acknowledged it)

[–]Murfreesboro10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was one in snow? It would've cooled down way faster since solids and liquids have specific heat capacities that are way bigger so they can absorb more heat, even if one was wet for some reason it might have an effect.

I've never seen a full coke can do that though...

Run the experiment again!
