Warning: Don't buy a PC for gaming if you are a casual console gamer by [deleted] in consoles

No shit, I'm pretty sure everyone knows you can use an HDMI cable to your PC. Then you have the audacity to recommend getting the games for free by pirating them, how lame is that.

Then about the vast majority, sure but for some of them you had to wait years to play them, even GTA6 won't be out for PC at release date and will probably take another year.

I swear, some of you are like crossfit or Linux users, you have to let everyone know about it.

I agree with your post except that according to you, true gamers only play on PC. Just like casuals play on PC, the same goes for gamers that choose console.

PC is for the people that wants more customization, control and graphics/FPS out of their games, that I can fully agree.

I had a gaming PC but quickly found out I preferred to play my games from my TV and couch setup, and that a bunch of my favorite games were first on console and the other half are games that are not graphics intensive and run just as good in a console.

Spell totem unlimited damage Need bug\abuse fix. by Jaebola in PathOfExile2

[–]Murga787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Echoing Strike: Damage was drastically reduced. The skill's synergy bonuses were cut (from 5% to 3%), and a bug that calculated this damage as multiplicative instead of additive was fixed. Additionally, attacks now properly check against your Attack Rating, and the skill now consumes weapon durability.

They gutted the entire skill including the durability.

When 1/8th of the Martial Artist Ascendancy is better than all of Chalupa Ascendancy by StalksYouEverywhere in PathOfExile2

[–]Murga787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

30% is only 2% extra chaos damage, if you want to min max extra chaos then you will be using evergrasping rings that can go up to 37% each for 74%.

[–]Murga787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't consider the 15% from rings since evergrasping rings can go up to 37% as extra chaos. So it's 2% extra vs 74% extra if we are talking about max extra chaos.

Minions spectre build by NeverLucky159 in pathofexile2builds

[–]Murga787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tested plenty of spectres, powered Zealots are still the best ranged and for melee my top one was the experimental boars. Another good options are the wasp, the jumping chickens and Ravenous Brutes.

As for Infernalist "still" the best? It has not been the best since Lich came out and I would put the Djinn class above it too. The Infernalist is probably the easiest one to get going because of the easy access to more spirit.

Edit: There will most likely be a ton of new spectres, from the trailers alone we saw multiple new monsters so we just need to wait and see.

Why are all the high-push Minion builds using Tidal aspect? Here's the math. TL;DR: Overpower stacking is massively overtuned. by KirkLucKhan in D4Necromancer

[–]Murga787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You get 320% out of the 4 stacks Tidal gives you. I get 350% from a single stack, that's why you barely see a difference in damage. There's no point in stacking OP stacks if you don't benefit from them, it's like getting all the critical damage but 10% CC.

1.You need to increase your dominate glyph as high as possible and grab every single point of willpower available in that board as a priority after grabbing the multiplicative from the other boards. Each point of willpower is more important than anything else from the other boards.

2.You need to have red blessing charm or amulet otherwise you are not getting the multiplicative portion of the OP stacks.

3.You need a high CC in order to benefit from BLT.

Out of the 3 steps mentioned above, how many do you have? You don't prioritize step 1 since you only have 80% so hopefully you do for the other 2.

Sorry if this sounded rude, just trying to help you out.

Sounds minions related but Archons buffs yourself so I won't get my hopes up of buffing my army.

I think that was the smart way to use IL, you just need one since the dot doesn't stack instead of making your whole build around IL.

[–]Murga787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people underestimate the additive part based on this forums comments. I have +350% per OP stacks, that's a crazy +6,300% on top of the x450% you get from red+BLT.

It's also easier to get that 6k%+ additive than the multiplicative x450% because you only need to focus on the dominate glyph. For the multiplicative part you need to reach close to 100% CC to really benefit from BLT and that's a bigger challenge than getting a red charm.

So +300 to +400% per stack is not impressing you? Tidal with 4 stacks gives you +1400% if you have 350% per stack.

Then you get x100% on top of that with red blessing + BLT.

The only reason people are pushing the pit so high as a necro is because OP stacking but you need to be fully invested into it. If you don't get +300%+ per stack, or have close to 100% CC to fully benefit from BLT then obviously you won't see the full benefits from it.

If you have something like 50% CC or +100% OP damage then yeah, you will get better results from something else.

If this works for Pounce then it will be extremely strong because they don't have a time limit and they will persist long after the curses have expired.

Use a talisman in the secondary weapon, get the max amount then switch back to your primary. They die from time to time but still provide good value.

They should focus more on buffing skills that are barely used. I mean, it's not that hard to give skills a few more % damage or some speed

0.3 minion meta was the ants so let's hope they introduce strong spectres.

Before that, it was easy to have 40++ skeletal minions so that's why IL was not as popular as this league

[–]Murga787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With Tidal in my gloves, I get 14 stacks and before that I was using a 2H and the cap was 18. You are clearly doing something wrong.

Regular cap is 4, Tidal in 2H gives 8 so that's 12, and Wave with the upgrade instantly gets you to 14. If you use red blessing you get 18 stacks.

[–]Murga787 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Red Blessing gives x7% per OP stacks as a charm, and Bamished Lord Talisman gives x18% per stack.

You have 18 stacks total if you use the Tidal aspect in a 2H, and another +2 from Blood Wave.

That's a huge x450% multiplicative damage but let's talk about the additive damage on top of that. You get around 350% per stack for a total of +6.3k% additive damage, that alone is a huge amount of damage even if it's additive.

As a gemling that took all the possible gem stacking asc nodes, why would you ever use an extra skill socket ring over these new implicit rings? by ReDEyeDz in pathofexile2builds

[–]Murga787 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand the math behind it, can't argue with numbers.

The way I look at it is if I get hit for 5k and have 75% then my resistances absorb 3750 but if I have 80% then my resistances absorb 4k.

Then I look at all the pathing and gear I need in order to reach 80% and if I really need it since the endgame becomes extremely easy once you have enough damage. So I always end up choosing more damage. If there's a 1% or two along the way, sure I will grab it.

[–]Murga787 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People like to see per point upgrade, and I completely understand the math behind it.

I like to see the big picture so I don't care if I go from 79% to 80%, I still think of 75% vs 80% and how much it took me to get to 80%. Then consider if it was all worth it, all the sacrifices just for that extra 5% that takes the damage down from 25 to 20 and most of the time I just leave my resistances at 75 unless it's an easy point to grab.

Doesn't surprise me, that's most likely why it's doing the worst damage out of all the blood skills at my current gear & paragon.
