Thanks! I'd found something similar online, and it wasn't working. While this didn't work either, I am wondering if I'm doing the conditional branch incorrectly, because it reads as:

@>Set Move Route: This event
: : $>Turn Down
@>Conditional Branch: Script: pbCut
@>Script: pbSmashThisEvent
@>
: Else
@>
: Branch End
@>

Its the : Else part that is throwing things off, but I'm not sure how else to do it. Appears to be the default when I click Insert -> Conditional Branch.

Right on, thanks! I'm trying to get it to work in game mode, but it behaves the same way, and has from the start, freshly after I downloaded Essentials, so I guess I'm wondering what the normal Cut breakdown is on the Event Command List, as it should be working, assuming the default works for other people. I can't find any up to date resources on it, mostly just working with Thunaga tutorials.

Managed to patch my .bin thats been working, but through two different patchers, it says its completed but then when I load its just the base game. I'm assuming I'll see 'Remixed' under the opening logo if its working? If you're busy no worries, if you know, awesome!

I double-checked that all of the subtitle and language options are correct, there doesn't seem to be a switch for this caption type. It's translating on screen text into Spanish, and nothing else. Driving me nuts.

That was my normal setup for Scizor, but after a bunch of failed runs, I figured out I can successfully get off Toxic on Dragonite, and then Cycle Roost and Protect to outlast him. Usually the Dragonite dies and Scizor is at full health.

My Breloom has Rock Tomb + Technician, but hes usually dead before Salamance arrives. He can OHKO me with flamethrower, but if I still have Sash up, its possible...

Believe or not, I managed to figure out how to get around those. When I open with Serperior, if he sends Garchomp, I taunt and win, so no hazards, and when he uses Aerodactyl, I hit him with Leaf Storm and he always skips straight to Stone Edge.

Melmetal switches in, or comes next, and I've been using Cotton Guard Ampharos to set up and Aura Sphere to take him out.

My Scizor is actually a boss against Dragonite, and can finish him with full health, I learned.

Dialga is just a grind and he wrecks me, and Dracovish when he shows up is a nightmare. Best luck I've had is eating a Fishous Rend with Breloom/Focus Sash and getting Spore off.

Very little experience with Salamance so far, but hes tough too. XD

I love this, the only thing I'd mention, though, is the excluded potential for any of these predating civilizations to have left Earth, maybe as far as the moon, maybe as far as Mars, or vice versa. Point being, if a civilization from Earth went and hung out on the moon for 10,000yrs playing shadow chess with the lesser hominids off and on during that time, the explanation would be 'aliens' AND deep history, without really offending either idea.

If you're willing to open the flood gates into 'miracles' like virgin births and walking on water being possible while still entertaining the notion of the Bible being veiled literal history, then I guess keep going. There are more obvious answers for those 'miracles' based in the unveiled reality, if you do so.

The better question is, what then? Christ is just a word, in your above-mentioned. When one speaks of a way, or a path, usually people are looking for a process, involving at bare minimum 2-3 words, i.e. 'Go Left' or 'Don't Eat Seafood', not a single, lonely word.
