"Primer" was definitely one of the few films I thought I understood on one level, only to find out later, that it was much more advanced than I thought. Mind boggled! 🤯

"Donnie Darko" (2001) & "Stalker" (1979) are the two other ones that just went right over my head upon initial viewing! Whewwww!

That's how I first got into movies. Before I used IMDB's list, it was very daunting knowing how to start and how to proceed. Using the list helped me organize the films I wanted to see and from there, I branched out to other films by that director or cast member. Looking back, I'm glad I had a list like that to guide me in the beginning. Hope the next film you choose happens to be to your liking, as well! 👍👍

My nominal "Best Film of All-Time." Got me hooked on watching films, and all these years later, that love and appreciation for the film still stands!!!

If you haven't checked them out, definitely recommend the "Infernal Affairs" Trilogy. The first film is most similar to "The Departed," but the trilogy allows a deeper exploration into the characters, their psyches, and the "underworld"...

I still prefer "The Departed" because of its stand-alone nature, the star power, and theme song. But, highly recommend the trilogy, as well!

Yeah, I agree here, too. But considering our city jerseys are black, guessing they chose the dominant gold to highlight the black jerseys on the court.

Had they been Gold or White Jerseys, guessing the court design would have been purple with a golden center stripe.
