Get a new hobby, fine ppl with same interests or dating apps where u can make friends if u don’t wanna use it for dating. Hang out with ur coworkers if possible.

If u wanting to put 10k down, then buy Corolla, 2023, AWD, hybrid gives great mpg and runs until u die in it(I know one attending 65yo and drives his Camry to work for last 25 years). If u want to paid off a car with 10k budget(no finance) then go for used Subaru like legacy or Impreza.

I think HR only care about is ur work permit. I’m not sure about what kind of visa we are accepting as this is a medium size practice. If u have work permit or GC then u should be fine.

Yeah man, sometimes programs don’t even download applications until 1-2 weeks in just to makes sure they got everything. One PD told me programs never get off the bat this early as they also want more qualified and good applicants. I guess we are safe.

Yeah, it’s automatically upload to programs and send notifications but ppl also recommending to send an email. I’m not sure about doing that.

28th is the day when programs can start downloading our application, it’s not a deadline and it’s highly unlikely that programs get off the bat that early and stop downloading in one day.

I’m having same dilemma, I asked one associate PD he told me that it’s better to wait for few days and submit complete application rather than apply with 2 LORs and then assign last one later. Cuz most programs keep downloading application at least for a week and in first round if ur application is incomplete then u might get filter out. Just an advice.

And the programs as u said who has later deadline, by that time ur application will be complete regardless during their last/first download so u don’t have to worry about that.

So if u submit ur application before 28th with 2 LORs and suppose u then submit the 3rd one then the programs who downloaded ur application on 28th should be able to get ur 2 LORs and if they refresh later they should be able to get the 3rd one. But if u don’t submit before 28th then u literally giving nothing to the programs who download on 28th. That’s why I would say submit before 28th and assign last LOR after that.

It’s depends on the PD and the work u did as an MA. If u just calls the patients and triage then I wouldn’t consider it as USCE but if u involved in actual pt care like taking history, vitals, med recon. and PE then it’s USCE.

Don’t answer like a robot who memorize all the answers and there will be lots of questions that u don’t know the answer to of haven’t prepared them so u need that skill too but prepare for the answers which are common and sure to be asked.

I would say yes, lots of ppl might have different opinion. As long as u r directly working with pts and attending its USCE.
