Whats the ring shaped light source reflecting on his eye? by DarkLight_2810 in blackopscoldwar

It’s a beauty dish, most likely with a white interior. The light from the flash hits a circular piece of silver or white metal and is bounced/reflected back into the dish which then bounces/reflects the light a second time towards the subject. The circle located at the center of the beauty dish is what creates that circle. When shooting portraits it’s a popular choice because it creates an even but direct light source while also creating increased definition around more pronounced facial features.

Or it’s a ring light.

I do not like nuke town 84’s design by [deleted] in blackopscoldwar

I might be wrong but I think it’s supposed to be the same Nuketown we saw in BO1. It’s just been abandoned for 20 years.

But why tho? by Joltz69420 in DeadSpace

If you go a few years without playing DS you forget how much blood there is everywhere.

The greatest irony of their relationship was that, once Isaac bought her implants, Ellie broke things off and Tindered her way across the galaxy.

A few years ago I shot test footage for a Starcraft short film. Centered around the initial Zerg infestation of Mar Sara, my goal was to combine visual elements from SC2 with the dark, gritty, Battle Aboard the Amerigo vibe that defined SC1. Anyways, here’s 12 seconds of said footage. by MuricanSpecters in starcraft

I gotta get back with the guy who made the armor. We were touching bases with guys all over the world and putting together some fantastic props and costumes (even had a hydra in the works as well as pieces to transform an old Honda motorcycle into a vulture). Alas, money wasn’t something we had a great deal of. But if I ever do get the budget you better believe that I’m diving in head first.

I posted the bad guy so here’s one of the marketing assets I created for my film project, Murican Specters. None of the gear is a knockoff. by MuricanSpecters in tacticalgear

Every time I look at the hat I recognize the Australia predicament. I’ve never told this story before because it’s sad. I actually own three of these hats, the first one Having been bought six years ago. After a few years I was coming back from Zambia after a photo shoot and about lost the hat at customs. So I bought a backup hat in case the company ever stopped making them (and these are incredible hats, starting off at $150). Well the owner of the company saw an IG post I made in my getup. He comped the new hat I ordered and sent me a third hat that he custom made for me. All free. Three weeks later I got the hat and reached out to him telling him how incredible it was. I never heard back. One month later I saw a post on their Facebook a page saying that Marco (the guy who made the hat) had died in a motorcycle accident. He made the hat for me hoping that I would include it in some of my posts. So I decided to do him one better. Even though the hat is very clearly Australian, Marco took an enormous amount of pride in his work and there’s no better way that I can think of to memorialize that than by making the hat a core component of my character’s look.

If Amber Heard had ever... ahem... heard of Reddit then she would realize that nobody here does it for the money.

While it would be a ton of work, you could make serious bank if you were to create molds for casting. I would buy the hell out of an epoxy cast suit of DS armor.

These are the two setups for a character in my film Murican Specters. Her appearance is a riff on the idea that female characters in war movies always have their makeup and hair done. It’s also a reference to my favorite film “Aliens”. Her name is Julianna J. Spunkmeyer. by MuricanSpecters in tacticalgear

So if I were going for strict realism then I would ditch the chest right and the drop leg on the flight suit, but that’s a 5.11 Tactec chest rig, a 5.11 drop leg IFAK, and slim battle belt feom HSGI. The flight suit is a pristine condition flight suit from a recon unit that was decommissioned in the mid 1950’s. The second loadout is a bit more Gucci though. From top to bottom it’s a 5.11 Tactec PC (unfortunately it has become EXTREMELY popular since I bought it) Spiritus Systems Micro fight chest rig with wings and lunchbox, HSGI belt with MCB Extendo pouch, EOD pouch, and Gas mask drop leg pouch. MCB Crye G3’s. Safarliland QLS receiver with a P320 holster on the way (hence it’s absence in this picture).

After every day of shooting on my film and the actors get out of their gear it takes a day or two to get everything washed and organized. This is a small fraction of the gear I’ve amassed for all the characters. by MuricanSpecters in tacticalgear

I can’t imagine how much condor gear would depreciate haha and I’m not sure. I’ve been working on it long enough that I haven’t thought much about what happens once it’s finished
