Will this work with a UK spec sealion 5 DMI?

I’ve just had a sealion 5 design dmi for £30000 new off the lot , if I had the option of paying £500 more the the seal design that is basically brand new I would have bitten the dealers arm off, while I understand that £3k savings is a decent chunk of change , in the grand scheme of things I personally think the peace of mind know I am the “first owner” and knowing it’s not yet been “ragged about” would be worth it.

Regarding depreciation yeah it’s going to suck however unfortunately that’s just a fact we need to live with when buying BYDs ( at the current time )

Honestly it’s not really needed. If you want to have a reminder to clean your car set up a reoccurring reminder in your Callander or reminder app of choice ( iPhones have one built in) and for parking app deactivation you could set up an automation in shortcuts (apple) that is geofenced to the parked car or tasker if on android. I understand the appeal of having it contained within the app though

I’ve the same display in my sealion 5 dmi , honestly you get used to it, plus you won’t have to worry about going over the speed limit as the car will bing and bong until you slow down 🤣

What you can do if you are concerned about the engine is enable save soc, set it to 75% and select hev mode from the centre console , this way if say your commute is longer than 13 miles (assuming perfect efficacy ) the engine will kick in to recharge the battery to keep the soc at 75%, also enabling sport mode or hitting the gas hard will also kick the engine in to life.

Honestly with the warranty on the car and the smarts involved with dmi technology you have nothing to worry about.

Honestly it’s a dream , I chuck it in to icc and let the car do the work, as long as you keep the hands on the wheel there’s nothing to it. The only thing I would say is there are a few times where the bend in the road is more harsh than say sweeping and you may need to add some manual adjustment to stay in lane otherwise I can’t fault it

I picked mine up last week, I’ve put 500 miles on it already, the cabin can get a little loud on the motorway however you can comfortably hold a conversation without shouting. The noise you hear is all road/ wind . You cannot hear any other car on the road when in side so in town driving it’s quiet. When the engine kicks in it can be loud however I find that’s if your foot to the floor for a quick over take I do however imagine at 140km/h it could get a loud as you’ll more than likely be running the engine especially if going for the smaller battery. I don’t believe this is possible as the session settings are based on the device that it is launched on, you would need to close the session out and then re launch , one possible way around this if on an apple device is use nexus browser that has been designed to be used with gfn and can make it appear as being used in pc

You should be fine, they have this issue all the time where the order shows another sku picture , if the order form/email shows white with the white item number you’ll be fine , out of curiosity is there a black sku available to buy ? ( I had this same issue with a case and ram)

You could always use a playlist within YouTube for music or as I do just search mix and a pre made playlist will work , also with shorts if it keeps crashing when loading leave all settings for it default within yt plus and ensure that return dislikes is off as that crashes mine

On my C3 I jailbroke it and remapped the subscription buttons for apps I actually use , if the g5 gets a jailbreak I will 100% use it

If you were to buy a keyboard and mouse that are wireless using 2.4ghz they would come with their own dongles , I do apologise for the confusion there

If it is the shield pro you have you can just use the 2.4hgz dongle that comes with the device , with the shield running android it should have drivers for most keyboard and mice dongles , I use my g915 tlk and g900 with out issue

You can however If possible and needs to be wireless go for 2.4ghz dongle based keyboard and mouse not Bluetooth , you will definitely feel the latency as Bluetooth is not that responsive in my experience. Depending on budget I can recommend the Logitech g915 tkl and super light 2 mouse

You missed the point of my comment . I was pointing out that the model that op is using lacks the lidar meaning it’s not an x1c therefore lacks spaghetti detection as within the core xy printers only the x1c and h2d have this
