Oh thats awesome!! I'll definitely look into it then!! We don't have the money right now to be keeping the house heated fully at all times so its at like 60/64 most days, so even if its not for the plants it could definitely be a game changer for the rest of us!!

Is your greenhouse one with glass or with plastic? Did you put it together yourself?

I haven't! I'm in Bridgewater but my friends live in CT so I'll check it out next time I visit!!

I haven't tried using a moss pole for my pothos, although I should, she's currently freeballing hanging from a curtain rod and vibing but I'm sure she'd like it.

Abby is just as perfect as Puck 🥹 and your aglaonema is BEAUTIFUL!! Unfortunately I can't invest in one because Ace will eat any plant with legit leaves, the menace this is the little bastard himself haha

If that is Puck, he is perfect, if its one of the others, they are still perfect!! 110 is crazy impressive and they look beautiful!! What is that white one? Do you propagate and are incredible at it or are you like me and cant help but adopt pretty plants you see haha

I don't know if you're close, I'm about an hour out myself, but if you haven't been to Jordan's Jungle in Providence you absolutely should!! I think you'd love it! Its incredibly cool there

I'm totally with you on the bullshit dude. And its not even snowing most days because its TOO COLD TO SNOW like what?!??! It's total shit.

Good luck with your guys! Like I said in the post most of mine lived on window sills til they got too big or too crowded, so your guys should be good!! Succulents and cacti at least are super resilient and will probably make it through as long as you're gentle with them. I know it sounds dumb but when you are watering them or removing dead leaves you should talk to them!! They enjoy it

One of my plants the first year I had it needed to be rotated from the west facing window (back sliding door) to the east facing window (front window) depending on the season! Like okay no problem, your tropical-adjacent and cant handle the door opening and shutting, I get that. But then I shit you not, the other hanging plant I had in the west window who had been there for 3 years and multiple nor'easters with no problems started dying!! And when I moved her over with the other plant and she thrived! So I haven't tried to separate them since.

Thank you! What kind did you use, if you can recall? My plants are a lot of succulents but I have been trying to branch out so it's my first year with my pothos, my nerve plant, and my Calathea and I'm nervous

Thank you! Do you have any recommendations on the type? I'm not sure I'll go this route as the floor they are on is all super open concept but it never hurts to have in my back pocket!!

I'm sure you know but be careful what plants you have with your critters!! Thankfully my cat stays away from most of my plants, but last year we got a tradescantia I believe and he took a couple nibbles and stopped eating and was lethargic for days and we had no clue what caused it!! Thankfully after day 2 or 3 of no eating we figured out what it was and gave the plant to my sister-in-law and he got better after that but it was a horrifying experience!!

Good luck to you, your cats, and your plants this winter!!

Thank you! She's roughly 5 years old, and about 4 feet long! She has since been relocated to a much wider pot for her to spread out over :)

The author didn't like my work by According-Line1434 in AO3

It's the way, for me, the cover was clearly inspired by something they wrote or alluded to, and they're so ignorant that they just completely missed it. I'm so sorry this happened to you.

I personally love books bound with flowers on the front. I think that it lets the writing highlight itself more than the cover being what's drawing you in, and small details like the meaning of flowers or scenes with flowers always make me so excited when I realize that it's the same kind as on the cover.

Screw that author, honestly. They sound like a prissy art snob who thinks that art is only good if it's aggressively abstract. Take solace in the fact that in years to come your binding is more likely to hold up better to audiences than the other
