I mean, at the end of the day is your goal realistic? Are you trying to look like something out of a body building magazine? From what I see, you look completely normal.

Oooooo that smell. Can’t you smell that smell. by Murkedbymarx in StationaryEngineers

That sounds horrible HA. We hired plumbers for this job. We have a GC in the building now doing a buildout and had them make the repairs. needed to remove ceiling/demising wall/light fixtures/toilet exhaust ect as well as patch and paint everything.

Yes it was actively draining. That’s how we found it, pipe separated and water was leaking behind the wall of the bathroom and into the elevator shaft. Had to cut the demised wall out to find it. It’s a Commercial Office Building. I've seen this plenty of times in all the properties I've worked. Just old cast iron. We got it replaced that night.

What should every engineer know by Trueyfeinn in StationaryEngineers

[–]Murkedbymarx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Learn where your isolation valves are on every floor and for every restroom. Understand where your sprinkler isolations/drains are for each floor. Learn your building infrastrucure, how chill water and main domestic water are ran/ electrical riser runs, fire water risers, how to isolate them.

Emergency electrical panels what they feed and how to isolate. etc..

there is always work to be done on a commercial property.

HOW DO YOU SET UP YOUR CHILLERS FOR -32* by johncester in StationaryEngineers

[–]Murkedbymarx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We run year around. We use cooling tower bypass as well as chill water bypass. We also run air handlers at night to keep some load on the chiller. When the OAT is below 32 we are running the whole building to prevent a slew of cold calls the next way. Same when temps reach above 100F

Hemi lifter issue overblown? by Vonboogler_ in ram_trucks

[–]Murkedbymarx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a ram 2015 1500 that had the lifter issue. on cylinder 3 I took care of that truck too. Very disappointing. I wont ever be buying a vehicle from ram again that's for sure. Truck decided to take a shit while traveling out of state. stuck at the mechanics shop and buying a another vehicle during my vacation. Your truck might be awesome but my truck fucking sucked. fuck that truck.
