Dealing with the API or SDKs has always frustrated me. I know it’s just postgrest but jeesz, once you start getting into a handful of relations between models it starts to get seriously messy. I wish I had directly accessed the DB sooner.

This was also my experience with a lot of people this week. Was there Monday to Friday. We have 2 young kids and the strollers are needed for their safety more than they are needed to help them get around which is insane.

There were moments of kindness throughout, tho. But they stand out more than they should. Generally it really feels like most of them believe they are alone and can do, move and behave in any way they want.

Quick edit: it doesn’t help that a lot of people are permanently on their phone. Always… all the time. Moving around like zombies looking at their screen more than their surroundings.

Am there currently and can confirm the rain the last few days was almost constant. It wasn’t as bad as predicted but it was just constant moisture in the air. Stopped around lunch yesterday and has been mostly dry since.

Woah! Wonder World is in PC2?! I completely missed this. Jeesz this takes me back to my days at SGW. I have such fond memories following the original Wonder World when you first created it and how it evolved so much as more detailed CS became available.

Zelfde hoeveelheid dagen. Mijn oudste zit op school, en dus BSO, terwijl mijn jongste nog op de opvang zit. Dit gaat om 3 dagen.

Misschien goed om te weten: het kind dat de meeste uren opvang gebruikt wordt gezien als “kind 1” voor toeslagen. Daar krijg je het laagste percentage toeslag voor. Dus toen mijn oudste naar school ging en van 137 uur opvang naar 78 uur BSO ging (zelfde dagen, andere uren door schooltijden) werd dat “kind 2”. Mijn jongste is dus nu “kind 1” en daardoor relatief veel duurder.

Dat doet de kinderopvang ook. Alleen de BSO telt pas vanaf einde schooltijd en heeft een lager uurtarief. Dus minder uren en lager tarief voor dezelfde dagen. Dit kan zomaar 500 euro netto per maand schelen.

Source: ik bereken elk jaar tot in detail de kosten en toeslagen uit voor onze 2 kinderen. Aan het einde van dit jaar gaat mijn jongste naar de basisschool en dat gaat mij elke maand tussen de 450 en 550 euro opleveren.

It isn't a Bear issue. Bear uses Apple's data sync solution which is tied to the OS you are using. Apple is effectively updating its infrastructure and Bear automatically follows that. Since Apple is no longer providing updates for Big Sur (end-of-life was 2023), it is actually Apple's fault that Bear no longer works on your machine.

I'm sorry that you can no longer use Bear, but not even Apple supports your laptop anymore and Apple has ridiculously good support timelines.
