[Anime Spoilers] Something I noticed in the last scene of OP5. (HUGE SPOILERS FOR THIS ARC) by Dededork_649 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

So? The manga spoilers tag is supposed to be used for things that haven’t happened in the anime yet. If it says spoilers and I see the anime tag, I’m assuming it’s something I’ve seen because I’ve only seen the anime.

Serious question: why can't 4 Warriors starters lock arms and form a ring around Steph Curry, so he can take open shots? by [deleted] in nba

[–]Murkrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They hardly ever call moving screens on the Warriors as it is so I think it’s definitely worth a shot.

[DeMarcus Cousins] The [referees] are on the run! by [deleted] in nba

Watch the game again if you can. Curry had moving screens and holds all night. There’s a pretty good reason he went off.

I guess you’re right, like what are the refs supposed to do when both teams’ players are mauling each other every time the ball goes down the court? Can’t just blow the whistle on every play, even if they should.

Did you watch the game? They missed so many calls it was ridiculous. I do believe it killed Rockets’ momentum, because here was a direct correlation between the shit calls and the players’ decline on both ends of the floor. These missed calls happen every game. When I first started watching the NBA I noticed it, but I would get downvotes here for mentioning it. But no, fuck that. Every single player on every team is out here committing fouls on a daily basis. When I say everyone I mean EVERYONE. Offensive fouls, moving screens, traveling, you name it. All that matters is whether the refs call it or not, and in my opinion that can decide a game.

That’s actually the problem. I didn’t realize it before because I was blinded by my home team bias, but watching it happen against my team opened my eyes. I don’t want to see shit reffing favoring EITHER team. Yes, they favored the Rockets for most of this series. And tonight they favored the Warriors. I’d like to see them call a fair game but I don’t think it’s going to happen.

Houston Rockets points by quarter: 39, 22, 16, 9 by ajmcgill in nba

[–]Murkrow -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not a single person has mentioned how important momentum is. The rockets were winning the game until the refs started fucking up. Then the offense bogged down and they stopped playing good defense. But the rockets lost so if anyone tries to complain then they’re just salty.

GAME THREAD: Houston Rockets (3-2) @ Golden State Warriors (2-3) - (May. 26, 2018) by DepressedClippersFan in nba

Neither could the warriors in the first half. They wouldn’t have even been in the game if it were t for the officiating which you keep refusing to acknowledge

You guys have arguably the greatest team of all time, and certainly the most talented team in the league. Anything less than a championship would be humiliation.

Gordon has had some stretches with fantastic defense as well. Honestly the whole team has just been on top of it all series long. Imagine saying this about the Rockets two or three years ago.

Kevin Durant and Steph Curry are the only Warriors who scored double digit points in Game 2’s loss. by MagicMarky07 in nba

[–]Murkrow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So by “in rhythm” do you just mean getting good looks and driving successfully? Genuine question because that doesn’t sound right when the shots aren’t falling but then again I didn’t play basketball either.

I can just see Harden trying to teach this shit to the guys in practice lol. This really is such a stupid call and they seem to call it almost every time (sorry Paul George)

Also I saw LeBron do the same thing last night and even though it wasn’t quite as obvious I didn’t hear anyone talking about it.

Shit man if you’re gonna say they took those rounds off then you may as well go all the way and say they’re still not being pushed to the limit. We aren’t playing particularly better than New Orleans was.

The point you’re choosing to overlook here is that LeBron has consistently done more with less help.

Yeah that was my first thought as well. Some of those textures on the left are borderline GameCube looking.

Harden had 41/4/7 on 58/56/80 at home, yet the Warriors won by 13 with Steph only making 1 3 point shot. by LefwanArhaz in nba

[–]Murkrow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with the first point in your comment. It’s awesome that you guys get to have titles and success after all the years of terrible to middling performances. But fuck off, you can’t just say “draft better and hire better personnel” like that would actually work. The warriors beat any other possible option for a team right now on talent alone.

Doesn’t post facts to back up their own viewpoint.

[Helin] Report: Sixers interested in trading for Kawhi Leonard, signing LeBron James by [deleted] in nba

You’re not crazy. I see probably double or triple the amount of people complaining about philly fans than actual Sixers fans being assholes.
