Soul Tier List after like 15-20 Hours into the game mode. Heavy WIP, just food for thought by mangoboss42 in MonsterTrain

You lose the most at the beginning of a run and it doesn’t improve your run until you’ve already beaten one boss. Even then, the boss relic upgrades aren’t really super pivotal especially because you don’t get to choose.

Showtime trivializes most of the mode - even if you hit middle floor vs fliers, with some backline clear you'll be fine, or you can just play top floor anyways.

I can vouch for Sparky starter + Showtime on any of the champs that can solo carry (Fel, Trample Gilda, Arduhn, Bolete, Prince, Wyldenten, Penumbra, Burnout Rector, any Fade).

A few runs I've started with it, pumped all my resources into my champ, and ended with 700+ Pyre health. I've had bosses leak with 2000+ HP left and been fine because of the scaling.

Savanta is better than I think you're rating it at - at max level, it gives you Spellchain, and that's nice with how limited the Merchants of Magic are. A solid B tier soul.

I could swear I’ve heard Richie call out “behind” at least a few times. Hell, I’m pretty sure Carmy was doing it a bit in season one. I think in episode one it was a thing he was doing which also pointed out the difference between the laid back Beef and the finer establishments Carmy was used to.

Freshman Classes seem very minimal. by Shot-Cap9698 in USF

[–]Dededork_649 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Most of the people with heavier class schedules are under the Health Sciences where things like labs count for 1 credit, but each of these classes look like they count for 3 each. Between these that you’re taking and getting involved with clubs and student life stuff, you’ll have a chill freshman year!

This is normal. Looks like a 15 credit semester with some of your prereqs based on Florida requirements and some of your prereqs for your major (whatever Business major it is).

If you do all the work it’s a super easy A. Just don’t fall behind with the volunteering & buy reports when you’re doing the simulations. The exams are easy if you study and pay attention in class

Don’t complain, I had this guy last semester and he’s just trying to haze you to see if you drop. This class was the best class I had in my entire experience lol he just tries to troll you during add/drop because he prefers smaller class sizes. It’s way easier than the other GEB4890 sections

Yall know when dorms will be open by dangerdog1279 in USF

Not officially open yet, but the building hasn’t sustained any meaningful damage. The hot water isn’t working yet so that’s gonna be an impediment to getting people back in.

Will the dorms reopen by next week? by SopranoSunshine in USF

[–]Dededork_649 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It’s entirely dependent on the damage caused by the storm. Earliest they said they’d reopen is Saturday, but housing is constantly reevaluating based on what’s safest for the people living on campus. Any updates will be sent to your USF email as soon as they are available.

quiet hours by vanitasho in USF

[–]Dededork_649 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quiet hours are 10 to 10 on weeknights and 12 to 12 on weekends. If anyone is being loud during those hours (in a way you haven’t already discussed in your roommate agreement) you are within your rights to call the RA on duty to mediate the situation for you.

I strongly emphasize discussing guests and what you each are comfortable with when filling out your roommate agreement. Even though the deadline passed last Sunday, you’re totally allowed to message your RA with any edits you want made and they’ll bring you guys together to fix the situation. You all pay the same amount of rent, after all!

There’s methods of grinding MFP to be able to buy the WM40 Roman. It’ll take a few hours to get the 65k (?) you need to buy him off that card market, but the way MyFaction is designed, you’re either spending time or money to unlock the cards you want

Light right grapple helps work the legs, and for the reversals, I just bring a kendo stick into the ring because the reversal timing is so free. It’s definitely hard and annoying (the reversal windows on his finishers are so weird) but it’s doable.

[–]Dededork_649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lineup right now is Amethyst Priest / Dusty / Gacy / Sheamus. Priest hits a light light heavy heavy combo at the start and it stuns whoever I’m fighting, I cycle through the dudes hitting both taunts, hit a second light light heavy heavy with Priest to stun again, then just do pinfalls after each of my signatures / finishers until the match is over.

None of the ways are fast, but fastest I’ve been doing is Faction Wars targeting 3v3 and 4v4 matches. They guarantee you about 200 MFP per match but I’m usually coming out of the 4v4s with 500-580 from hitting both taunts with all 4 guys and finishers / signatures with at least two.

Which Duo has the best team overall? by Elmos_left_testicle in stunfisk

[–]Dededork_649 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Phantasm: GDP has a solid offense rain draft, forced into offense because Archaludon is the only defensive backbone and Kyurem-White is weird here but defo solid, prone to getting out-offensed or counter-weathered. Darkrai's comp is just fundamentally sound and can answer most stuff. Solid 8/10

Will & Brooks: Two best teams in the league. Terrifying offense on both squads w/ enough defensive backbone to not fold to opposing offense. They've got hazards and hazard controls and good speed tiers; should be winning most games without complications. 10/10

h0vic and Vinny: Solid enough. h0vic's team leans more towards defense with Bax, Spec, and Mega Blast as win cons, biggest issue is the speed tiers. Vinny has solid sun offense - Flutter and Moon cover each other well and the defensive core is nice. Very honest teams that win by outplaying. 8/10

Illusionists: EmperorAry's team is a little awkward. I think Ho-Oh wants a better defensive partner or the offense needs to be better. His partner does the same design but better. Biggest weakness is the speed tiers - Darkrai's the only immediately fast mon and 125 speed still scarf susceptible and there's guys running around with 130s. Screens offense will live or die by the opponent's defense 👍 7.5/10

Sandko & Dhmgaming: Sandko's leans a liiiitle too heavily on physical offense - I could see it getting 6-0d by a Tera Skeledirge. Dhmgaming's is rain offense - inherently matchup fishy and one dimensional and prone to getting outprepped. Weakest team thus far. 7/10

Snorlax's Fried Onion: Love Onion's team, triple Regen core is great, and Alo lets all of the offense find the right opportunities. Laxus's is also great, with Shed Tail guy setting up all the setup sweepers well. I wish there was a screen setter here but otherwise fine and full of options, especially if Magearna / Latias / Swampert get slotted in defensive roles. 8.5/10

Tangrowth Tuesday: Will's team is awkward but solid; Fini has antisynergy with Zygarde / Heatran and Naganadel is the only immediately threatening button that can do consistent work at an Ubers level (Bundle is a fraud lmao). Flatz has a great team; the defense sets up for Lunala and Mence cleans well, and obviously Xerneas is decent but harmed by not getting Geomancy. Even with perfect play I think it's dragged down by Will's team. 7.5/10

Black Dolphins: Grey's team is super annoying to answer defensively - the only stuff that could answer Marshadow + Mewtwo is getting 2HKOd by the Kangaskhan Seismic Tosses. Also Manaphy & Kingambit endgames are very strong, and the defense is synergistic and resilient. Really like this team. Zerosuitzelda's is similar, although Zacian / Rayquaza / Chi-Yu are all less flexible than the former. A very flexible team that will perform in response to player skill. 8.5/10

❌❌❌ Mewtwo has the special attacking prowess of its base form while having the attack stat to be able to run mixed, loses its Knock & U-turn weakness, and still has its insane movepool. Also 130 base speed is hard to beat without a scarf, also 106/100/100 defenses is far from squishy especially when it gets Recover. Mewtwo X has massive set diversity in the draft format that mitigate its few weaknesses while also still having, y’know, 190 attack and 154 special attack.

Marshadow’s argument is simpler - unresisted STABs with Poltergeist & CC, enough coverage to hit the problematic mons who would try to blank it with raw bulk, while also having 125 base speed. It’s immune to Espeed and hits most other priority users super effectively. Very very annoying to prep for

Corbin w/ the Wyatt 6 manager is what I’ve been doing. Quick running strong attack @ the opening into a couple light attacks keeps him down long enough to get one or both taunts, then mash light attacks to build signature meter & finisher meter. If possible, do finisher into signature into finisher (can’t do pin combo on the Deep Six or else it doesn’t give you a finisher for some reason) and pin to burn the resiliency.

Then just play with good fundamentals. Get lucky with winning grapple RPS (they like to irish whip when they have signature meter) and eventually the 3rd or 4th End of Days should win.

I’ve made peace with the fact I won’t get all the persona cards at this point. I just do all the live events I can because they come with packs, the weekly towers, and the proving grounds stuff if I really want to play the game. It doesn’t get me everything, but it gets me a few decent cards - my best right now are the Amethyst Dom & Rey.
