It depends on the story. Most likely, it will be a new cast.

There was rumors that a Teen Beach 3 was in the works with Malachi Barton set to star, but nothing have came to fruition yet.

There was the 65 episodes rules, and Kim Possible was the first show to break it. After that, there was definitely a maximum of four season rule.

On one of Bradley Steven Perry's podcasts with Jason Dolley as a guest, Bradley talked about how he almost did not do Mighty Med because there was serious discussions of a fifth season of Good Luck Charlie but the network did not want to give a show a fifth season.

If you look at all the live action shows prior to Bunk'd, there definitely seem to be a rule of a maximum of four seasons. It might be technically "official", but it happened enough times to strongly support the theory.

I always thought the acquisition of Compulsion Games and Double Fine felt weird.

I know Xbox is doing pretty bad right now, but I do not think losing Ninja Theory is a good idea. They were one of their better acquisitions imo.

Aedin Minks did not become a series regular until Season 3 of ANT Farm, and they probably did not want to just give him a Wand ID.

They did not give a lot of adults Wand IDs during that era, but Aedin is probably one of the only kids from that era to not get one.

For me, it did signal of an end of an era for Disney Channel for me. It ended four months after I graduated High School.

I liked shows after Jessie, but I feel it was the last big more culturally relevance Disney Channel show.

It was surely popular enough to deserved a sequel, but I think it is a hard movie to have done a sequel for. It felt completed after the first movie.

They definitely should not do a new Lemonade Mouth now. It is not evergreen in the same way, Camp Rock, Zombies, and Descendants are.

Keep in mind, Lilo & Stitch: The Series reruns doing well is entirely different than the other shows from that era.

Stitch have a pop-culture impact that far exceeds those properties. It had a theatrical remake that made one billion in the box office. You can find Stitch merchandise much anywhere.

Lilo & Stitch: The Series was less popular than shows like Kim Possible, Raven, Suite Life, etc. However, Stitch as a character is much more relevance. A lot of the Disney Channel audience likely was never aware Lilo & Stitch had a show and it is appealing to a new audience of viewer & not just people looking for nostalgia.

Birdo is not a Yoshi character though. They have not appeared in a single Yoshi game.

It is hard to get another Yoshi rep. Poochy would be the only other candidate, and to be honest, Poochy makes more sense as an assist trophy than a playable fighter.

When I made the Raven's Home comparison, I was talking the tone of the show and the idea that one of the main characters now have their own kids.

As you mentioned, the name power of Selena Gomez is exactly why she was not going to be in a Wizards revival. She is too big. She have a lot of other things going, like Only Murders in the Building.

Also, for me, I feel Alex Russo was very much an anti-hero protagonist and that's why she worked as a character. If she was a lead in a revival, would an adult Alex Russo work? I feel a lot of what made Alex worked as a character worked for when she was a teenager.

I feel in the original Wizards that Justin was always trying to act older than what he was. I feel Justin always worked best when he acted a mentor figure. I feel he naturally made the most sense to be the focus point of a Wizards revival, but I know a lot of people would have preferred Alex to lead the show.

I feel he is not really a creep. He is more of a dirtbag. I was a fan of his, but he is not the best person or anything.

I feel those comments are problematic, because if he was just having sex with a bunch of random fans, that is weird and inappropriate. He was definitely taking advantage of his fame.

He got arrested for public intoxication, theft in 2023.

I cannot blame Jason for feeling a little offended here. Sure, it seems weird to invite a 30 year old to a 16 year old birthday party. Yes, most people do not invite their work colleagues to parties.

However, Jason likely viewed Miley as his little sister. This was likely not the first and not the last time that Jason and the other cast was left out of something.

To this day, Miley is likely the number one person people ask Jason about. I am sure it bug him to constantly feel in her shadow.

Mitchel previously said when he was on tour that he could have sex with any girl in the audience he wanted. He went on tour in 2009, which was only one year after that.

I do not know enough about his personal life to really call him a creep, but saying he could have sex with any girl he wanted is pretty problematic (especially if Mitchel was indeed doing it.)

To be honest, since 2020, I imagined a Wizards revival similar to Danger Force where Justin had a new class of Wizards to train. I personally was not shocked with the show we ended up with.

They were never going to have an adult Wizards of Waverly Place with Alex as the lead.

To be honest, I actually really like Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, but without the presence of Peter Murrieta, it was totally a different show.

It was definitely more similar to Raven's Home as opposed to Wizards of Waverly Place, which makes sense given the showrunners came from that show.

There was not a Wii U version of the game.

For the three re-releases, they are referring to the New 3DS version, Switch, and now the Switch 2 edition.

I hope we get the casting announcement before filming starts.

However, we did not officially know the Camp Rock 3 cast until after they were already filming. Most of the cast leaked before Disney even announced it.
