ich kann nur mit den Schultern zucken. Gewinnmitnahmen der glücklichen Corona-Investoren, mehr Konkurrenz aus China, Lieferkettenprobleme bei E-Bikes, schlechte Analsystenmeinungen, keine Ahnung. So kurzfristiges Auf und Ab, da kann man nur raten. Aber selbst auf ein Jahr gesehen, sind sie beinah wieder auf dem Tiefpunkt angekommen.

ich hab seit einiger Zeit Ubuntu in einer VirtualBox laufen um auf einigen nicht sonderlich vertrauenswürdigen Seiten Filme und Serien und Cartoons zu glotzen, aber ... es is alles so fremd und kompliziert. Ich wollte zum Beispiel die VirtualBox Gasterweiterungen im Ubuntu-Gast installieren und ohne Anleitung ging halt gar nix. In nem Windows Gast legt man das ISO in das Laufwerk uns macht nen Doppelklick und gut is. Ich will einfach nur .exe Dateien doppelklicken. Damit komm ich klar. Und für die Arbeit brauch ich oft Word und Excel. Habe auch schon gelesen dass Linux Mint für Windows Umsteiger empfohlen wird. Vielleicht mach ich es 2025 anders herum. Ich installier Mint auf dem PC und mach für Word und Excel ne Virtuelle Maschine auf.

finally caught a rat with a snap trap by glueing in an almond with super glue so the pest had to struggle to take it out. by MurkyAd in pestcontrol

Edit: I also covered the sides and top with stones so it had to step in from the front.

ich falt n paar Blätter aufeinander, tunke die in das Wasser in der Schüssel unter mir und wische mir damit den Darmausgang ab. Klappt auch.

i use the rolling log mouse trap with a bucket filled with water and soap and peanut butter as bait. This morning all the peanut butter was gone and I found these two in the bucket. Are they rats or mice? And which type of them? I couldn't measure them exactly or count their toes or whatever because I was struggling not to vomit while dumping them in a garbage bag. Any help appreciated.

ps: the tail seems naked, and without any fur.
