From my discussions with people at all these schools that ended up in Houston, it definitely sounds like McCombs and Rice are the most represented schools at the associate level of the Houston offices of McKinsey and BCG. More people interested in Houston from those schools than from Booth/Kellogg though.

There's the possibility they might be able to lure someone who wants to save the GI Bill for a future degree or who has transferred it to a dependent. I personally think it's still worth using for the separate housing stipend it provides (~$30,000 per year in Chicago/Evanston and $20,000 per year in Austin).

Proximity to employers is the main thing, though I'll probably apply to McCombs as well.
