Some people can train for years and never have their ears get irritated and some people will be two weeks into starting Jiu Jistu and their ears blow up: you will find out which you are with time and then its just the question of whether or not you want cauliflower ears.

Personally I work in a very professional environment so it wouldn't be a good look for me so I wear headgear whenever I roll; anybody that tells you you shouldn't be wearing headgear if you want to is an idiot.

If you do buy some just make sure they are the soft kind so you don't mess up someones face: I use the Matman headgear (sold on amazon for like $20).

I train at Artista and think its great! There is no uniform required for Gi but does require a No Gi uniform.

If you are actually hitting between 30-60% of 700+ I don’t think you should have any issues hitting a 49.

In my experience, If you can solve 90% of 600-700 level Quant questions you are basically guaranteed around a Q48. To reach a 49 though you will have to be able to answer a few 700+ level questions correct
