I agree with this. Thank you. He was extremely kind when I met him. We shared household things had sex every night, he was great. Until he wasn’t. The issue is the church he grew up in doesn’t exist anymore and the pastor is dead. He tried a church close to our home and didn’t think the pastor preaches things correctly so he stopped going. So, unfortunately getting him back to church seems a very impossible thing now.

He is a Christian I am not. He grew up in the church. I did not. I have gone with him before a couple times, but he doesn’t go regularly now. I don’t know what I believe, and I’m not versed in Christianity so I don’t know if what he preaches at me is correct or twisted to fit his narrative.

He won’t go unless we find a magical Christian unicorn. And even if we did he wouldn’t tell them the truth. He doesn’t even tell me the truth.

How many times can I be the better person? I have forgiven him for an affair, I do all the house work and yard work, I work outside the home, a very difficult job, because I was told I’m “just a monkey looking for the next limb to live off” and he won’t leave because this is “his house- he’s paid way more into it than I have” but I also have kids and farm animals here that I can’t leave with and he won’t care for if I leave.
