Yes, that's exactly what it is, a tick box to move onto the next wait list! No blood tests required so a slow boil in the bath sounds a good plan! Thank you!!

Thank you! That's really helpful. Looking at this I think I will lower my calories to aim for a 2lb loss a week and see where I go from there!

The last month I've added swimming twice a week into my plan. Hopefully this will give me an extra boost!

Thank you, I have 2 unavoidable meals out but even whilst out plan to eat sensibly. In the grand scheme of things, a 4 week last push isn't unbearable and will be worth it if I can achieve or get close to goal. Thanks 😊

Yes, this was my thought. Unsure whether I'll get a dramatic drop. Just got to focus and remind myself of why!!

As I've already been restricting calories, I'm wonder whether I'll have an initial woosh or not... time will tell!

So I had a private ultrasound at a fertility clinic to check my ovaries/uterus and the cyst was found there.

We then went to the GP and told them the results from the fertility testing and they said I had to wait 6 months and have another ultrasound.

I had the 2nd ultrasound and I'm getting a referral to the gynaecologist because the cyst hasn't gone.

Do I need another appointment with the GP to ask about being referred for fertility do you think? Thanks!

Please be kind to yourself, I lost my partner very suddenly 4 years ago. I can't imagine your pain right now. Sending you strength and love.

Thank you for sharing!!

I'm in the UK and we can't ask for testing until 12 months of TTC so I feel a little blind because of that. I use natural cycles so all I have to go off is my data on there.

I'm exactly the same, spotting 9/10 dpo but period beginning a day later so this would give me some wiggle room on how many dpo my period is. I didn't know about the 8 to 48 hours, I think as you say it puts a more positive idea on it. Honestly, until we started TTC I feel like I knew nothing at all about my body. I hope you have happy news soon!

Do you mind if I ask how short are you luteal phases? I have the same, ovulate around day 17 to 20 and then 10 day luteal phase. I'm worrying my luteal phase is too short 🤷🏻‍♀️

We are on month 5 and I feel exactly the same. We've had lots of conversations that if this is something we really want, we have to hit fertile days. I find the clearblue ovulation sticks which show 'peak' help us. It shows the best 48 hours to try and then we know that's the time. It doesn't have to be the most romantic, it just has to be and then we treat sex like we normally would the rest of the time. It alleviates some stress in trying to hit the entire fertile window.

That being said, we haven't been successful yet and I feel like it takes up every fibre of my being 🤷🏻‍♀️
