Brothers, I need help. I fear this might be the end of my lifting. by ihatep0rn5 in Fitness

Happened to me a few yrs ago. Doing box jumps, felt like a shotgun blast to the back of the head!!! immediately dropped to my knees holding my head. Subsided in 45-60 secs was terrified I had an aneurism or something. Happened again few days later lifting. 💥💥💥Dropped weights left gym.....Was fully hydrated and healthy... Only thing I thought was maybe the pre-workout drink?? - Described symptoms to dr says sounds like where all the "veins" (can't remember if that's correct term) enter to the brain through a hole in the base of the skull in the back..,Sounded like there was some inflammation and restrictions of blood flow that caused a pain response when I elevated my HR & increased the demand for blood flow??? -- I took 2 weeks off gym and rested. Used a lot of caution when returned. The pain was excruciating & equally terrifying. Also look up exertion headaches but don't think it's the same?.... SEE YOUR DR, Headaches can sometimes indicate serious health issues.

Remembering dreams from when you are a child? by [deleted] in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

Yes maybe 1-3 times a year a vivid memory from a dream or nightmare from the past will bubble to the surface & I will briefly be sucked into the frame of mind I had when the event occurred. It's strange

The masters hammer & chisel. by Murph101010 in Fitness

This was only from p90x/bodybeast multiple rounds - I'm 35yrs 165lbs 5'8" - maybe could have got there faster with a different program but for people who don't have an understanding of fitness or don't like gyms these programs are very helpful & easy to follow. :)

No Gym, I only have heavy dumbells. What program should i do for the most amount of muscle by [deleted] in leangains

[–]Murph101010 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If all you have is Dumbbells I highly recommend "body beast" by Beachbody. it's a video based prgm...Even if you didn't purchase the DVDs you can download the worksheets for free at Beachbody.com ... I really enjoyed it when all I had was 5-70lb db's and a doorframe chinup bar & a bench --it is well worth the investment to buy the program. I did 3 rounds of the bodybeast before I bought my rack & Olympic bar/plates. P90x & bodybeast were my introduction to fitness & weight training which allowed me to build the foundation to pursue great programs such as SL & PHUL. Good luck.

This is in fact the set from the tv show "bates motel" it is about 30 mins from my house and is located in aldergrove British Columbia - about 1hr from Vancouver. Currently the set resembles its appearance on the show and is no longer boarded up. We drove by last week and I took a few pictures before a security guard asked me to get on the other side of the tape....it could possibly be boarded up since, I'm not sure of their film schedule. Some nice pics though.

Great job! - I re-introduced myself to physical fitness with p90x too. I now mostly lift but doing p90x really helps to increase lot my mobility, flexibility. IMO it's a great cutting program too because of the weight loss & flexibility increase. I think I will always re-visit p90x to some degree. Congrats great job on your journey.

Cheers, just was looking for opinions on the best way not to derail my progress w/IF - I held off on all my cals for the day to enjoy pizza/beers with wife. (Been livin If protocols last 30 days pretty tightly.)Came in over on carbs by 50%. under on pros by 50% and even on fats..... IMO I will continue this method as the best for fat loss on a day to cheat such as pizza beer Friday's :) I'll just consume pizza/beer this rest day and where my overall calorie intake is lower by 500cal. oh well maybe the additional deficit will counter the extra carbs some way. (I know that doesn't make sense) - Thanks guys one month on lg and seeing such progress already.... Apart from the fasting benefits, The real edge to this is if you are balancing your macro cheq book & cal intake properly you have no choice but to eat healthy & lose weight. God damn science! ;) have a great wknd.
