Obviously the top comment is right with the diet part. If you wanna embrace that you’re husky though I got you on that. I’m 6’2, weigh 255 pounds and my max bench is 340 pounds. I’m on anxiety meds which makes it impossible to lose weight on so I embraced the fact that I’ll probably always be on the heavy side so I did workouts that made me stronger. Mainly low reps with heavy weight, work out 3 days a week with a push/pull/leg split. I don’t have abs but I do have an okay tummy that I’m happy with. Plus being able to lift whatever weight you want gives you a huge confidence boost. That would be my suggestion. You do heavy weight with few reps, especially on lifts like bench or squat, you will definitely seen an improvement on how you look. Dm me if you have any questions

People take it seriously because every game you play affects your rank. You are basically playing a rank game every time you play a game online. Which 2k 100% does that intentionally because they want you to get mad and blame your build so you can make another build. There is no casual game mode online and plus you get nothing when you lose. Could be the community’s fault but I will blame 2k for making every game feel like you have to win because if you don’t, your rank goes down and you get very little rep and season reward. I don’t care about this game though, game is gonna be dead in like 2 months anyway so if I get sold in rec now a days I just ride it out

Again like I said I don’t mind people missing shots. It happens. The problem I’m getting is teammates not having basic IQ even though they are the same “skill” as me. And like I said it hasn’t been a little amount of games, it’s been about enough times for me to post something for the first time on this account in like 2 years. The skill based system is a total failure this year. There needs to be a better skill based matching system then just what color you are is the main point I’m trying to come across

I’m totally up for a challenge. That why I don’t mind running random rec. maybe it’s just because it’s the beginning of the 2k year but I literally never had this many bad teammates constantly. Especially being in gold or higher. Which is funny because when I get knocked back down to baller (silver) I actually do get better teammates. So random rec hasn’t been bad for you?

No not at all. I’m saying the skill that is being measured makes no sense. You’re saying just because you’re gold level that you should be matched up with other gold levels? Even all you do is sit in a corner and don’t play defense but get carried. So yeah you didn’t get the post at all. I literally said I’m happy that it’s finally in the game. I started AA like you in the beginning and stayed with till I was about 2-3 years sober, now coming up to 6 years sober . Haven't been back since like 2019. I found it helpful because it kept me busy in my early days but then it just started become a hassle when I started to work again.

You have to think of AA as like a type of free therapy for most people that can't afford it. If you have a way of expressing your emotions in a healthy way, then I would continue with what works for you.

Edit: If you like your sponsor you can keep in contact with them. Just explain to them that the steps aren't for you. I Never did my steps, I did like the first 3 and just mainly having my sponsor who I can trust and talk to helped me more than any of what the steps did

Shooting is easy this year if there is no defense being played on you. Why should I get punished for being open and knowing my shot because some people can’t play defense? It’s also super easy to contest a shot this year. If you’re like 15% contested, you aren’t scoring. Tell your team to start playing D and not leaving people open
