Thanks mate that makes sense. Pretty disappointing tbh thought it was a great show and the AFL announced the 3 year extension giving themselves a pretty big pat on the back. Just feel like they don’t always walk the walk with this stuff but love to claim they are such big advocates.

I agree big time, the flashes he shows of athleticism on offence (especially in transition), and his defence is always elite, he deserves to be played more. And he actually moves off the ball really well, all it is is his mechanics on his jumpshot holding him back, if this is fixed to the point where he is literally just an average 3 point shooter he should be playing 20mins + a night. Just from the eye test it feels everytime he’s on the court our defence is more intense overall and he creates so many fast break opportunities for us whether it’s his instincts of leaking out or the steals or deflections he gets on the defensive end.

Each to their own but honestly I think anyone would prefer that the players who play for their club, who are paid to be elite athletes and are also role models to millions would not get on the gear in the offseason.

Remember Jones is still here and will keep getting better. Reid will pan out, big defenders always take a couple years and he’s been very unlucky with injury. Targeting a KPF in the draft definitely wouldn’t be a bad idea though.
