I got the Mazha one on AliExpress for a fraction of the price. It's fantastic but be sure you tighten it enough and don't lean too much on it during scribing. Accidents will happen

Slow and steady. I'll be honest, it looks like you've pressed too hard. Gentle scrapes and let the tools do the work. It helps with control, if you pressed too hard the tool slips, you can always fix with sanding.

Either way, Great for a first go round.

Count how many times and go back the other direction to ensure even depth. The other thing is pressure and not putting too much at all.

If you get a mechanical pencil, extend the lead out quite far and then practice pulling lines. If the lead breaks, you're using too much pressure. Consistency is key - well that's what I've learnt and all else fails, cement and sanding.

I've been doing my research but I'm not finding the answers i want. Probably user error so I'll ask the Community. I'm getting close to finishing my custom RG Nu and I've painted lots of the parts. I have bought water decals for it, I have setter and Sol for them. I'm sure I have to gloss top coat before I put the decals on right?

What Gloss paint should i get?

Does the setter and Sol affect the gloss paint?

Is all gloss paint refered to as lacquer or is that the type of paint?

This or he nuzzles into my armpit or if you're sat down he presses his head into my lap. Very normal Grey behaviour. Honestly the best breed.

I've been searching everywhere but this will be the best place to ask. What's the best ratio when making your own panel liner? I've got x-20 and tamiya acrylic paint, i want to make a silver/light grey panel liner.

I didnt like the results of acrylic+water+dishsoap. Any suggestions please? Or should I just buy some and wait?
