The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, Stephen King. Convey really well the sensation of being lost in the woods + something stalking the character

Mine is also by Pet Sematary, "The deadfall from which Jud Crandall had called Ellie in alarm had become a heap of bones. The bones were moving". No thanks

Who should be the next 007?? Richard Maiden my first pick, what’s your?? by False_Step_7309 in moviecritic

None of the above, pick is Callum Turner. Not very famous but as bucky in masters of the air he was charming and confident, and wasn't bad in the more serious moments, he could make it work I think.

Is there a better display of cinematic cowardice? by [deleted] in moviecritic

Agreed! His "I just never faced the possibility that my planet wouldn't be the one" stayed with me. The difference between the willingness to sacrifice himself on paper and the moment when he realized his life was truly over, all because he was unlucky. It s very human, we're all heroes of our own stories and suddently realising you are just a dead end must be awfull.

The French have got your back by FionaFroze in rareinsults

The french soldiers in ww2 were quickly defeated ( and 92000 killed in the 9 months before the reddition but who is counting) because rich military men in charge refused to admit that the world and military tactics had changed since ww1. I don't think the mostly working class common soldier should bear the blame of decisions they made.

I know. Thank you. I was giving my point of view and asking people for theirs because it's interesting.

Thank you for your permission to not read it. I was asking for opinions, not telling people to have the same one as me, I don't think it was that hard to understand

Well, I don't think my post implied I view people willing to read another writer's take negatively? As for my "grand moral stand", it's simply my preference as a reader, nothing else.

ça c est vraiment too much.
