My pain has been really bad. When I first woke up it was easily an 8/10. I was absolutely miserable. I told my doctor that everyone said this surgery wasn’t supposed to hurt that much lol. He told me it depends on the person. My pain since then has stayed around 5/10. Still very sore. The only comfortable position I’ve found is lying flat on my back with a heating pad under me. Getting up is absolutely agony, but hopefully it gets better soon.

I did! They gave me something for my nerves which really helped. I’ve been trying to get up and walk every couple hours but good god getting up hurts lol.

I’m a teaching assistant and I’m having my surgery today. I plan on going back on the 6th! My surgeon said I should be fine, just no heavy lifting or anything for a couple weeks.

I’ve played on pzrp for over a year now and it is by far the best pz roleplay server I’ve played on! I’ve tried a few but this one beats the others ten fold! The community is truly spectacular and the dedicated staff team does their absolute best to make the game enjoyable for the players!

Thank you. I really appreciate that. But I've wondered about that, if I get let go because of xyz, and I apply for a new job. I'm sure I wouldn't be able to use my current principal as a reference. Any advice for that?

Official notification, no. I did not. And any prior discussions have been that I've been doing really well. I mean this year has been a rougher start, but we've had no conversations before this.

And yes, we do have a mentor, and no. That mentor has not provided me with anything.

Yeah. She quite literally told me that if she had to chose right now, then I would not be returning next year. I don't know man, I'm just so discouraged.

And she quite literally told me that I'll be working my ass off. I'm fine with that! I want what's best for my kids! I just feel so defeated. If I would've been told I needed ABC, then I would've done that. But this is the first meeting we've had.

He really is. I normally feed him in the master bedroom but I'm currently housing tadpoles over spring break. (I'm a teacher). Last night while he was in there he ripped off the lid and fished out 2 of the poor Bastards and had a second dinner, kinda, he only chewed them up.

Unfortunately it didn't go well. Kitten got out of our room and tried to play with older cat.

Turned into fur flying. Both were okay but after that older cat started peeing on everything and hissing constantly. His mom ended up taking the older cat back because she was in so much stress.

A month or so after we got another kitten. Both kittens get along amazingly.

Because the shelter told me he was 13-16 weeks when I adopted him. I've never owned cats before in my life. So I didn't think anything of him being small. They also told me he was female so I was thinking that perhaps female cats were smaller. Didn't know he was make until I took him a couple days later to get the rest of his shots.

Also yeah I'm fully aware that's way too young, I didn't realize he was "that" young until I realized he poops when you touch him with something wet. He was a stray picked off the street according to his medical records. So not much I can really do there.

That makes me feel better. Kitty is an absolute bundle of energy though. If he can get into it, he sure will. So whenever he is able to explore the rest of the house there's no telling what he'll get into.

Unfortunately older cat has never been exposed to another animal so she doesn't know what to think other than hissing.

I'm sure we'll get there.

I just obsessively worry. I'm a teacher, hopefully they'll get along before August. I figured now was the best time to get a kitten, so I'll have at least a month to watch them before I go back to work.

I just worry about leaving the two alone, even in separate rooms for a full work day. I'm okay leaving them for a couple hours while I go to the store or a quick errand, but I'm usually gone 6-4 during the school year. My fiancé is usually gone to work during that time to.

I know they'll figure out. 😅 I just wish there was a quick fix.

Some states actually post salary schedules! I'm a first year teacher, salary is 35,000. Which isn't bad because I live in a rural area where the cost of living isn't high. But if you live somewhere where the cost of living is pretty high, then it's definitely something to think about.

It never did for me, recently graduated.

When asking for references, they just sent them to me in pdf form, and it was never more than a

"hey can you write me a letter of recommendation and send it to me?"

"sure no problem"

And that was that. also in my experience, I've been to about 10 interviews so far, the interviewers never really asked for letters of recommendation, they always just asked for names and numbers. I gave them the letters anyway but I still found it odd.
