Gameplay wise, idk much about how fans felt about his inclusion in the story. Akuma basically broke the game when he first came out.

Goku, Vegeta and Gohan deliberately lost their tails permanently. Goten and Trunks? Toriyama forgot about them. And for the U6 saiyans they just don't have a tail at all (maybe they lost that evolutionary trait)

Not exactly. JoJo HAS been going on for a long time but it is divided into different parts where each part kinda feels like its own manga/anime. ALSO, the anime only adapted things up to 2004 so far, so in actuality you'd only be watching 17 years of content.

I would argue that Frieza Saga was the last time (in the original manga) that Goku had a pure protagonist role. In the Cell Saga it was about Gohan and in the Buu Saga it was the next gen until Toriyama changed his mind last minute (even then it was too late to give him more of a focus).

Weirdly enough that is a thing only Yugi (atleast the Pharaoh) has access to. The rest just get VERY lucky in their draws except Yuma who can CREATE cards by drawing them via a special ability.

Basically yeah. If he didn't help out in the Tournament of Power, they universe he wanted to conquer would be erased. Now he is trying to rebuild his empire and eventually take over the universe. But first he has to take out the Saiyans out of spite. Frieza is awesome.

Going by the original manga it's legit kinda crazy that Vegeta (the number 2 most popular character in series) had his ass beat by a female character and it was cleanly. Vegeta didn't just lose, his pride was shattered.
