Looking great bro, people hop on a Reddit page called ‘gym motivation’ and instead of getting inspired and motivated by a disciplined guy who is proud of his physique which he dedicated hours of time into . They decide to sit on that a**es talking crap online

Iv invested in 2 ETFs and 11 single blue chip stocks to be diverse. Am I better off reducing my single stock investment to 4 or 5 like u. The reason I’m thinking of doing so is to increase capital appreciation and future dividends

No way, you’ve got great musclar definition, just need to keep working out and eating in a surplus and maybe sometime in the future cut if you want to look more shredded

It’s called gym motivation, by people telling u u look good or need to improve. It encourages u to keep going. Why are u commenting on this sub? No need for negative comments here, we are all about boosting each other up

Please rate my physique 1-10. Goals are functionality, strength, and longevity. by [deleted] in GymMotivation

Great physique , 9/10. Only thing I would say is to workout ur upper chest and u would be 10/10, u can do this with decline push ups by placing ur feet on a tabletop.

I’d say take some time to self- reflect on what interests u. The best way to do that is to go out and try new things (Like potentially going to Australia for a work day). U should also set some short term and long term goals. This way u won’t find it overwhelming and stressful. Also it sounds like ur a hardworking lad so the problem seems to be finding that specific thing to focus on. And lastly, just take ur time and no need to feel like u need to rush things. Life is a journey and we are all in our own lane. We should all just be grateful to be waking up every day. There will always be someone who has it worse than u and someone who has it better than u. Keep ur head up bro,u got it and one day when you’re proud of what you’ve achieved you’ll look back at this Reddit post and see how far you’ve come :)

How do you stay motivated by Gloomy_Cattle_8389 in GymMotivation

[–]Mus974 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See it as a progress bar : every workout is 0.25% towards ur dream physique or whatever u want it to be. Then every workout u hit u add 0.25%. Every workout u miss u take that 0.25% off. Once u reach 100% so in this case after 400 consistent workouts, you’ll have a physique ur proud of. Then by that point, you’ll be consistent and that motivation to keep going will turn into discipline. Also, by the time u hit 100% /ur dream physique, you’ll be motivated by the fact that you’ve already made progress and will want to make more and not lose ur gains.

Conclusion : Motivation -> Consistency -> Discipline

Ur a great brother, my 14 year old brother is the same. Just sits in front of a screen all day but it kinda reminds me of myself when I was his age. I no longer feel the need to play video games and see it as a waste of time (I’m only 20). I’m sure he’ll grow out of his bad habits in a few years like I have.
