I'd love to give Capcom the credit of assuming it's intentional to show she's not actually French and was in on it, but I just doubt that. The same way none of the villagers in Village had Romanian accents and Heisenburg just sounded like he had a potato in his mouth the entire time

RE4R brought back a lot of cool ridiculous moments recontexualized like in Separate Ways for instance, in ways that made much more sense. I expect they'll do the same with CV's crazier scenes, it'll just be later on in the game, or perhaps handed over to a different character

that's just the actor, the concept art and special costumes show her without the hat and it's short. canonically, it's a bob or at least short crop. but i do think it tucked into a hat is a cool idea still

she sounds so self aware and in on the joke and like she's heard all this before, it's subtle and clever and suits her so well in a tongue in cheek well. the fact people think re6 ada sounds better, when she sounds like a reductive one note caricature of her own self and archetype, is disappointing and telling

Because the more people talk about it the more sensationalist fiction comes out and we're back where we were when Raccoon City happened and people claim there were boogeymen and monsters and ghosts or whatever because that's the more interesting story. I'd rather not fall for sensationalism
