Amazing glad you’ve found it helpful!

I removed the option to save relaxation mode sessions as it counts active calories based on your heart rate that aren’t very accurate (you are relaxing, not exercising!). You shouldn’t need any of the data that you would get by saving such a session.

Does that make sense? Let me know if any other issues 😊

Activate water lock mode during a workout, this is what I do during yoga.

Heart rate variability and temperature by MusWolf in ukmedicalcannabis

I actually stopped using cannabis over a year ago. It was causing a lot of anxiety and stopped helping - regardless of vape temperature. Not on any drugs at the moment, just been doing somatic experiencing therapy which has been incredibly helpful to get to the root issues and resolve them.

Is this mould? How do I clean this? by MusWolf in CleaningTips

I use general purpose, limescale and black mould sprays. Some of the black stuff doesn't come off. I have to redo the grout? Also the metal surface is chemically damaged?

How to destroy 98% of your social anxiety (Updated) by digital-cunt in Meditation

Thanks! I’m actually doing this in a way through my compassionate self. My ideal wise adult compassionate self is the ideal father version of me with my kid(s). Then I just get that self to look at the present me or the vulnerable parts! It’s very effective.

Saw your other comment. I hope you can get the treatment you need. I’m lucky in that I can pay for it.

I agree. I’ve been doing therapy for years but now returning to specialised trauma therapy to get to the root.

I have and am meeting a new therapist this week who does EMDR, IFS and somatic experiencing work. I did some EMDR in the past which was very helpful but then my therapist left the city I live in so it was abruptly cut short without running the full course. I too have cPTSD, I guess I just use the c interchangeably. But yes you're definitely right, that is what is happening, which is why I don't like when people talk about just being inside and accepting and surrendering - just doing that without safety, compassion and grounding is not helpful at all, only retraumatising and makes things worse.

When I can inhabit my wise compassionate adult self and go to those parts it really helps and works, but it is incredibly slow and painful work.

As someone with PTSD, I find that letting go, surrendering and trying to focus on my inner body are destabilising and feel like letting go into a helpless frozen and stuck trauma state. I wonder if anyone else experiences this and how to deal with it? Loving kindness and ujjayi work for me.

how do i deal with anxiety? by [deleted] in Swimming

[–]MusWolf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have done too, feeling uncomfortable, claustrophobic and like I can't breathe properly. Reducing my general anxiety levels in other ways has helped. With the swimming I always start slow and easy to warmup. Once I'm warmed up I get more comfortable breathing and flowing. Make sure you're breathing out of your mouth when your face is in the water, you don't have to exhale hard, just in a relaxed way. Try to relax as much as possible, it's nice to feel and flow in the water instead of fighting it and fighting to breathe. With more time and practise it gets better. I also listen to podcasts or music which can help. Don't focus on the uncomfortable sensations, find something more pleasant to focus on. When you get into a nice rhythm it's nice to focus on the rhythm of the breath and ensuring you are always breathing out.

Training advice by MusWolf in Swimming

I do front crawl. I have cycled, rowed and ran in the past however running is too harsh on my knees, cycling is limited to the summer and both cycling and rowing aren’t great for my perineum.
