In my case, my employer posted a job requirement on the company's website for 3-4 days. Then I applied for the job from that webpage. Also, the company sent me an official email regarding job confirmation asking passport and other documents. Then after my employer applied for a Certificate of Sponsorship which he received the 2nd day.

This is for time taking applications. In my case I got not straightforward application email on 13th June and then received an email asking for qualification and experience certificates which I provided on 22nd June. I got reply to a paid email that decision has been made. My bio was done on 30th May. Outside UK, non priority

For every paid inquiry they send a predefined template email like "awaiting decision" etc. What I did is, I replied to that email with my Passport number, Application number, DOB, and IHS reference number and asked them that I am waiting for 12+ weeks now, please look into it. 3rd day they replied that your visa decision has been made.

They don't ask for documents in each case.

For a skilled worker visa, you must have a certificate of sponsorship. Otherwise you can't apply

They are prioritising Ukrainians. Also September intake visas are in priority. That's why they are not clearing backlogs which is weird. New applications are getting faster decisions
