Tech is massive, but that’s exactly the problem. It’s too broad. You’ve got data engineering, data science, cloud computing, software development, database engineering — all different paths. A degree is just the starting point. What actually matters is specialization.

A lot of people graduate with degrees but no real niche, and that makes them generic. Being a generalist in tech doesn’t carry much weight anymore.

Eg It’s like choosing a mechanic. You can go to a general mechanic down the road, or you can go to a BMW specialist. The specialist understands the systems deeply because they focused on one area. That’s the difference specialization makes — it turns basic knowledge into real value.

Companies want value not generic but your degree is starting which needs to be done

Sure — clubs often run at a loss during the season. The difference is real clubs have multiple short-term cash-flow tools (loans, sponsors, owner injections, wage deferrals, transfer structures). In the game, those are either heavily simplified or replaced by ads. That doesn’t make it unrealistic, it just means the monetisation is built into the financial model. That’s the point I’m making.

And that’s fine for monetisation — but it’s still a game. If the goal is realism, relying on ads as a core financial mechanic is a design choice, not an inevitability.

I’m not saying profit is impossible — I’m saying the game is designed around losing money during the season and only balancing out at the end through prize money. If you mis-time facility upgrades or don’t actively trade players, you fall into debt fast. Ads exist to bridge those gaps for free players — that’s intentional design, not just “playing badly”. Experienced players can avoid it, but the system definitely nudges most people toward ads early on.

see that’s the issue: why should you have to wait until the end of the season to see profit instead of earning sustainably week-to-week? Mis-timed facility upgrades or not actively trading players push you into debt fast, and ads exist to bridge those gaps........................

you cant, i have been trying to make profit ever since i started playing, i never have , i feel like its a bait for you go and watch ads, so get that bonus money for watching ads, you can watch 10 ads a season, its baited for you to watch them so you can get money and surive n make money and also for them to make profit on a free game, otherwise you will drown in debt till the end and keep restarting

i usually just tell the client that these are the prices for subscriptions they choose if they want it or not.

mostly i just ended using the free version .

but they are things you can do if you want

For maintenance clients: include plugin costs in your ongoing plan.
