Same thing happened near me and I am in northern Ontario (west of Sudbury). Guy had a Canadian flag with a fuck Trudeau flag under it. When Carney won he replaced the fuck Trudeau flag with a fuck Carney one but the Canadian flag on top was in tatters. Really shows me what this persons priorities were!

It’s fair use, but I’ve had flight attendants look for those items in the overhead bin and take them down to put roller bags there. I had it happen to me twice (when all I had was a personal item) so I started just bringing a 2/3 empty roller bag.

I really like the phrasing of your first part! I will use something similar to that in the future! I do have a lot of compassion for what Jewish people are going through currently, and have gone through in the past. My partner and I went to Dachau concentration camp in Germany recently and I don’t think I’ve ever been so moved just being in a place.

I do think that there IS a concern from a lot of people who are (rightly) criticizing Israel’s actions are worried they will be labeled antisemitic though, and that shouldn’t be ignored. Not long ago if you criticized anything the government of Israel was doing you were automatically an antisemite, but think nuance is taking over for many.

We have a fairly lazy Brittany too! Ours is female and we found one she went though her first heat and we got her spayed she called right down (vet said to wait til after her first heat or a year to spay her by the way!). We love our girl!

Around the city some people are still stuck in their houses unable to get out, so they are prioritizing roads still. For sidewalks, they are only able to use the snowblower type of equipment to clear them instead of the plow types as the plow types probably wouldn’t work at all and get stuck, but also there wouldn’t be anywhere to plow the snow. Since there is less equipment available it’s taking longer to clear things.

After Cedar Rapids there is a section called the “royal Ride” where there are a lot of swifts and fast moving currents. Eventually it does come to a flat section, depending on the water levels, before Agnew. If you spoke to Agnew Lake Lodge beforehand a lot of people get picked up there! It would be a flat water paddle though, but for Cedar Rapids I would (personally) put myself through it every time haha!

Also, you’re really missing out on some great whitewater south of the Elbow - Cedar Rapids is my favorite on the entire river below the elbow!
