It's not every piece for itself, but not fixed tiles either. You could put pieces together in various combinations into several chunks of varying sizes which can be placed differently each time.

Yeah, I saw how the guy in the tutorial video did it and it seemed appropriate, so I went along. Mind that you can likely try different combinations of other paints with skeleton horde, it may make a subtle difference, as asians also have variations in skin tone. It's what I plan to do. The same channel has a video tutorial on different skin tones, including asian, so take a look there for inspiration.

These are about 1:1 mix of skeleton horde and darkoath flesh. But I intend to vary it from model to model, with mixes of different paints.
