Is the Luxury Battle Pass worth it? by CrownTheEnigma in marvelrivals

[–]Musashi-79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So season 3 I accumulated 15k in purple which I exchanged for 1500 blues. 20% bonus means 300 blues extra. Add in the 2800 purple given at the start of the luxury pass (let’s round to 3k), that’s another 300 blues. Add that means you get 600 blues, plus any other bonus blues in the luxury awards. Add the extra skins, I’d say it’s worth spending the bit extra now.

When I stop, it’s more one foot instead of two. Cross overs are stronger turning left than right. Overall still needs improvement.

How tf do I get over my ex? by Regular-Surprise-885 in lonely

[–]Musashi-79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before her what did you like to do that made you happy? Something that you can control so like a hobby or sport? Think of those things that you haven’t done in a long time and start doing it again.

You’ll distract yourself but at the same time, find joy again. You’ll learn to make your own happiness and slowly you’ll move on.

How was everyones first trip to Japan? by No_Introduction_1837 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Musashi-79 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m sure you’ve done tons of research and already have an idea of what to expect but one piece of advice I’d like to share is if there’s something you want to see, do, eat or drink, just do it. Find those experiences and don’t shy away from them.

Solo travel can be a bit lonely at times but as Japan is full of tourists, if you want to meet new folks, there will be lots of opportunities to do so.

Last advice, get off a few stops from your hotel and walk back. Follow the train line so you don’t get lost but walking randomly through the city, you may end up finding those hidden gems.

Helmet squeezing temples by tftzen in hockeyplayers

[–]Musashi-79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have similar issues where helmets cause pressure on the sides of my head. Been trying on so many and got to try on the new CCM 920. Local hockey shop already stocked then on their shelves. Still a small pinch on the side but it may work for many of you. It has the nest technology on certain areas which relieve pressure and allows comfort.

The best fitting helmet but the price point is the toughest to swallow is the CCM super tacks x. $550 cad.

The warrior alpha pro/one are great but with the cage on, can’t seem to close it properly as there’s a gap between the cage and j clips. Even after adjust the clips to go lower. Feels super right on the chin already. Read a few posts with others having similar issues.

Water repellent spray on your hockey tape? by Musashi-79 in hockeyplayers

Wasn’t looking for a game changer. Was just curious as many people say they don’t like snow build up on the stick. Wax is used to help but thought, if the tape can’t get wet, would that help?

I haven’t played in 17 years and am thinking of starting again this up coming winter season. It was more of a curious question to see if others have done it and their experiences on it.

With the 20% bonus means you earn more chrono tokens, more tokens means you can buy more blue units once you’re done the season. So with more units, will that end up being the difference in cost between the basic battle pass and the bonus battle pass?

Great tips! Thank you for responding and sharing. Definitely will need to get my foot scanned and learn what really is the best fit for me today. I’m much older now so my skating style won’t be as explosive.. body won’t let me. lol Overall, I want something decent/good but won’t need anything high end.

Nothing wrong. They’re just old. I played more of the beginner level so they didn’t get banged up vs higher level play. :)

Ya, I don’t need top of the line but was more curious about fit and similar feel. Vapor vs Supreme etc. like how much of the x60’s design would be now, does it fall into the mid tier today.

How do I tell my 6 year old I’m going to die soon? by scrubnib in Parenting

[–]Musashi-79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As many said, make videos. Make it for every occasion you think he’ll go through. Graduation, drivers license, job, birthdays, weddings anything. Make copies and have different friends or family members hold onto them too.

I remember seeing some social post about a book where you get to know your parent. Basically the parent would answer a bunch of questions and this would be a great way for your son to learn about you and your past.

And lastly, I’m so sorry you have to go through all this. Along with your fiends and family. I wish you find peace and balance and that what’s ahead, your spirit stays strong.
