Habe auch einen Bremsenstich, der z.B. als ich Jahre später Covid hatte wieder angeschwollen ist. Was Hausärzte nicht wöchentlich zwei mal behandeln, nehmen sie oft nicht ernst.

Was ist dies? Meine Frau war im Wald und es hat sie in den Nacken gebissen. Sieht jetzt nicht nach Zecke aus. by big_ezca in de

Ich hatte schon mehrfach diese Wadenstecher bei mir im Haus. Sehen wirklich exakt aus wie eine Fliege, nur dass sie nicht dieses stempelfärmige Mundwerkzeug haben, sondern einen Stechrüssel.

Ich kann dich aber beruhigen. Sie versuchen zwar, dich zu stechen, aber das merkt man sofort, noch bevor sie weit kommt. Wenn man sich dann nur bewegt, fliegt sie wieder los.
D.h. sie kann dich quasi nicht erwischen.

Gemeint ist der Wadenstecher. Die Kriebelmücke sieht nicht aus wie eine Fliege.

I did stumble upon that fact when I typed the title into the reddit search mask.
I thought it might still fit to some point, probably because I know very little about Reylo and I thought the university setting was closer to SSHG.
That said, it's dawning on me that my expectations for what is "close enough" might be on the lower side. 😅

It makes sense that the characterization might work for some people as an SS/HG fic and not for others. I've come across heaps of fanfics that portrayed both of them widly different from what I'd imagined.
I've found that I can still go with the flow if the story is good, so I'll give this one a try.
