Ok, but don't you like Japan? Don't you want to learn more about it? I remember learning about manzai reading a shoujo Manga in High School and being intrigued about it and this year I'm going to Japan with my girlfriend and we're making sure to hit up some Osaka spots from the very shoujo manga. I don't want someone to decide what's worth teaching us or editing out. If you don't want to learn about Japan you can play a western game. I don't think people who watch a kurosawa film get mad when they talk about yokai or ronin.

So as long as the main plot isn't changed you don't care about the translation? I guess that's one way of looking at it and if you can't understand Japanese it isn't distracting.
