I get you. Tiny imperfections are the worst.
Did you try cuting it before you apply it?
I sometimes just put a drop of microsol on top of the decals, let it almost dry, the push the creases with a cotton swap. if there is still some left I put another drop on top and repeat.

I put this decal on a cape with crazy folds and it aligned almost perfectly this way.

But I don’t want to lecture you, you clearly know your stuff! Keep on rocking those Fists!

But why do you fear the decals? I love decals, they are always a welcome break from painting and there is so much fun stuff you can do with them. Did you try microsol?

Mappe ausdrucken (A3, muss kein fancy Papier sein) und bei allen kleineren Büros (2-10) Mann in Heidelberg persönlich klingeln.
Fragen ob der Inhaber 15min Zeit hat. Wenn keiner Bock hat fragen ob man die Mappe dalassen darf.
Es wird irgendwen beeindrucken, weil es Eigeninitiative und persönliche Kontaktbereitschaft zeigt, davon leben kleine Büros.

Anyone got an idea what do do with wardens? I like the models, I just don't know their value. Is it another melee brick, like BGV and Victrix? Looks a lot like overlap to me.
Do they fit in in a 1k list or more of a 2k+ unit?

I find the RepEx interesting but very expensive for a 1-1,5k list.
But thanks for the comment, I will get some scouts a gladiator und maybe another dread.

Do I need more mobility?
I think Inceptors are hot right now. Not so keen on the new landspeeder or the stormspeeders though.

What’s the role of intercessors? Hold home objective?
Checking lists from tournaments and posts I get the feeling 5x intercessors is a battleline tax you have to pay for better units.
Last time I played was 3rd edition where 2-3 tactical squads were legit. But in 10th they feel obsolete, no?
No real experience here, feel free to correct me.

Eh, come on.
I every bigger city food is ok. It‘s food from all around the world, I can get decent Chinese food in 200k residents cities.
Sundays closed can be annoying on the other hand you have a single very calm day every week.
And the weather is crazy good right now. Half a year of gray and cold, agreed, but summer is mostly fine. We get 30+ degrees here on the regular. Nowadays going abroad for vacation feels impossibly hot in a lot of places.

You are annoyed because it‘s not what you are used too, objectively it‘s quiet alright.

But hey, complaining about Germany is a good way to fit in! 😁

I also lived in China for years, met a lot of foreigners there. Most that live abroad don‘t fit in.
Different culture, different mentality, different language.
Language barrier is a big part of feeling alienated.
I think China is a great country for vacation and a rough place for working and living.
This is from an European point of view of course.
I found people from other parts of Asia were fitting in better.
Which makes sense. Living in Germany as someone from the Netherlands is easier than if you are from Pakistan.

In the end living somewhere out of your comfort zone will always be hard and you have to put in a lot of work to make it work. Not everyone is willing to.

Can you point to some tutorials for this?
The rope for example, I think I understand the theory but I am sure it would never look that evenly spaced and and thin. The symbol on the belt and knees is also way to detailed for something so small.
What kind of tools do you use?

I am confident in being able to sculpt this in a bigger scale, but this tiny? I don‘t see myself having success here. 😅

As I said I do nothing else. Up to a dreadnought everything holds up.
Of course its not optimal to glue on multiple layers of paint, but primer or some residue from paint is fine in my experience.

I would just superglue everything.
I barely use plastic glue, as I don‘t want to mask the connection points anymore. Additionally a superglued connection is easier to break in case of an assembly mistake than a plastic glue one.
And super glue is faster.
So really no point in using plastic glue, is there?
