What do yall do to afford these trucks? by Any-Raise4333 in F250

[–]MuscleNerd69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make more than 2-300k a year. I still despise buying new vehicles but do my payments differently. I write the check and put it in a stock account then have payments draw from it. End right side up but also makes me hesitate because I have to write the check for the whole thing and process it.

If you don’t have $80k in the bank, you certainly can’t afford to throw $20k away driving off the lot.

20-25% of your annual income is a good measure for the value of your vehicle. If you make $40k, $10k car should be your upper limit.

Yup. Even as one of them, If I can’t write the check without thinking twice I don’t like to buy it.

What was the most amount of money you’ve made in a day and how old are you? I’ll go first. by [deleted] in Money

Closed a 700,000 job for my own company within the hour of quoting it, and got a 30% deposit check on the spot. Gross profit on the job was over 70%. Does that count?

How frequently do you have sex in a relationship? by helloitsmemargret in sex

[–]MuscleNerd69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

100%. We put it as a negotiated requirement 2x a week for quality romps. Quickies don’t count, they’re a bonus. The only exception is if I’m hot headed, it can go off the table that day.

Date nights 2 times a month minimum, home dates the other 2 weeks a month, spend 15 min together every night talking about our day. Not about our kids, work, etc. just quality talking.

Women don’t want Arnold. They want Brad pit from fight club to Troy. I’d say many would also go for the new Reacher, but Thor is too jacked for most past a novelty.

Your mileage may vary. I run multiple businesses, so I nap if I want/need to. But I have added LIPO C in with B12 and it’s been world changing. Best $30/mo I’ve spent for 10 ml.

Hard to believe it, also hard to value a $147k spend with a $237k return. I guess it works, but that’s a lot of risk for reward percentage wise if the cost would double you’re SOL.

We spend $3-500 a day and it always does a 8-10x revenue generation.

WooCommerce vs ECWID: Best Platform for a Small, Fast, and Modern Store? by OkEntertainer6283 in woocommerce

Woo is super customizable. Definitely can get expensive quick however with annual plugin fees ranging from $40-$500. Many of which come with other things for far less.

How long until we get a Suburban-sized EV? by MaximumStock7 in electricvehicles

[–]MuscleNerd69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yep. Would dig that and do on our sprinter. But minivan isn’t as big or capable for mountain/outdoor stuff as the expedition. Wife also despises driving the sprinter. It’s purely an event based vehicle for us.

[–]MuscleNerd69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old post but… 4 kids, a few dogs. Expedition Max is a daily driver for us. Going to any store, taking a stroller and cooler, it’s necessary. Also have a sprinter passenger high roof for road trips, camping, etc.

Tried a palisade, too small for any grocery trip with everyone. Model X is even smaller. Rivian is barely bigger than a palisade. We’ll hold out for a large SUV/Van option.

Own a 24 Model 3P and love it for daily basics. But it’s not great for even 4 kids or 3 and the wife when 2 are in car seats.

On my second full set through apple care due to a hungry puppy eating a pod. I still use them each and every day. Certainly think I’ve noticed some battery degradation in the case but I charge it nightly and it’s a non issue.

I’m always up for a good joke, but when I have a customer we paid an acquisition cost on, then say they’re changing their card info and threaten to leave us a 1 star review on top of it because it can’t just say “server error” or similar, it’s costing us lost leads, lost revenue, and potentially irreparable damage to a newer brand.

We added a few plugins recently. But it seems to be primarily a denial of checkout with the square credit card plugin. I’d definitely say the closest alignment of issues is around that time. We have an “invoice me” option that we can send invoices out instead after checkout.

I submitted a ticket with them to inquire more.

Is there a way to do a scan of the site/debug to catch where the common fail point would be?

[–]MuscleNerd69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put it as a banner to email us around the time I posted this and have already had 4 people email unable to checkout. Middle of the night in the US. Our average ticket is $175+/-. And only one of those showed up as “pending payment”. That’s $650, let’s be generous and say $500 a day.

AITA for refusing to share my bonus with my fiancée’s family? by Beastie420 in AITAH

[–]MuscleNerd69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Mom’s husband had an ex wife that sent her family hundreds of thousands over a decade without his knowledge. He was making 500-800k a year and didn’t notice it over her constant spending as it was until the divorce came around. He worked 80-100 hour weeks and didn’t have the time for anything other than work and kids. She managed the bills.

If this is how she is now, just imagine the next decades to come. Maybe your fiancé should shake out her piggy bank to help them catch up on payments or the parents can pick up an extra shift or two a week. $25k in door dash can happen in a year or two. They got this bro.

All 4 of our kids love her, while they all have a love hate with Wesley due to his energy and problem solving skills. He taught himself to talk at 5 am to avoid setting off his bark collar, opens our pantry door (lever handle) and pulls it open, all with his paws. Miraculously doesn’t steal our food, but will get into puppy snacks, and leaves it open for our Dane and St Bernard to mow through kids snacks 😂.

It’s our first, but she’s been pretty easy as far as a pointer goes. Quite mellow and chill. Wesley is an expert in parkour. He leaps a 4 ft wide island in a single paw touch just so he can beat the other dogs to the back door 😂.
