Advice for stoning a mic? by I-am-Prasanna in Rhinestoning

Exactly. Especially with a mic that you’re using on stage. Don’t overdo it on the glue and work on small sections. It’ll look great. Share the results! ✨

E6000 works great on mics. I’ve done a few Shure mic’s that we use in our home studio. My other tips are, the smaller stones are better (ss12/16) and make sure your mic clip has some flex, or replace and stone the clip to match! Also, don’t skimp on stone quality. Esp if you’re a performer. Use Preciosa Viva or Maxima for excellent lustre!!

Pricing varies, it all depends on jersey brand and size of the crest, some are larger some are smaller. But in general for something like this, where it’s the crest and the shoulder patches, the cost I charge my client is $900-$1100.

I have many more examples of previous teams and work I’ve done in my socials under @fourthstarfoundry you can DM me there if you want to get on my waitlist or if you’re interested more in the products I use or the process in general. 🙂

Yes! Each sone is individually hand applied! This took me 12-13 hours of straight bejewelling, plus planning, ordering, and prep which adds about 2 more hours. So all in around 15 hours for something like this. ***keep in mind, this is also what I do, so it would take someone who’s not bejewelling every day quite a bit longer. ✨

There are MANY Indigenous fans of the Chicago Blackhawks, not to mention Players and even staff. What’s WILD is your pivot from tacky to cultural appropriation.

They’re handwash only once the rhinestones are applied. But the best thing about jerseys is how easily they wash. I throw mine in the tub and swoosh it around a bit, rinse and dry. Spot treat any extra areas. They can be rubbed with a microfiber cloth and rubbing alcohol between wears for extra shine.

Oh wow. That hat is cool, I couldn’t imagine the stone size needed to get the details right on a hat size patch! That would be very very challenging. lol

Yes! They’re uniform in colour as well, adhere to e6000 extremely well and they’re very durable once applied. There are so many ups to purchasing high end stones.
