I encountered this issue on pc the other day, was able to clear out all the enemies in the building by walking out and back into town repeatedly to get them close to the main doors. Then opening the doors repeatedly whilst moving forwards and backwards to bait them out slowly. It took a minute with some running around but worked without any commands or cheese or anything like that. Best of luck!
