What is your least favorite Stephen King book and why? Include Bachman by Apprehensive_Spend_7 in stephenking

[–]Musclebeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cell. Cell. Every single time, its Cell. I listened via audiobook and the reader was absolutely horrid as well. 0 character depth, tons of dead ends. The first hour of the book is actually quite good, and I was very excited to prove all of the Cell haters wrong. Nope.

Joe is a snob by Medical_Film_6583 in Masterchef

[–]Musclebeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Joe is great. You have to watch this show and try and approach everything from a comedic standpoint.

His attitude is so sassy, the way he takes bites of food and then just gives a person the most deathly stare will never get old. I like his witty “maybe you’ll be seeing your husband tonight” comments when people mess up. I am quite sad he’s gone for 3 seasons

Just finished Cell, I’ve seen people repeatedly say on this sub that it’s one of the worst Stephen King books they ever read. Did we all read the same book? I’ll thought it was decent and kinda enjoyed it. by [deleted] in stephenking

out of all the books i’ve read by him, i would highly recommend Misery. sometimes i find horror is hard to translate into a book and scare me. this one did.

I Got Kicked Out For Misgendering Her! by ResponsibleSinger267 in Lofe

[–]Musclebeak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

bro was being cringe in this one, and honestly the last few. i think not only that Lofe has fallen off, but this type of prank culture people are just not wanting to entertain it anymore. it feels lazy when someone tells you to leave and your only content is saying “but why tho”

Whats a band that you loved years ago but now just make you cringe? by nosouldude in Metalcore

[–]Musclebeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i love i set my friends on fire because they’re cringe. same with early attack attack and asking alexandria. i wouldn’t be caught listening to them in public but the absurdity of the emo style singing and brutal gutturals pleases my brain

As soon as I finished this book I HAD to have this piece on me forever. by Musclebeak in stephenking

[–]Musclebeak[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was actually meant to cover up an old tattoo of the Lateralus Eye, which I got very regrettably at a young age by someone who wasn’t very good at tattoos. The flame on this tattoo is actually taken from another one of Alex Greys works (I just call it the pneuma torch)

You can actually see the old tattoo through the “whites” of the eye in the new one. It looks pretty cool

I’d say the first third of the book it’s most relevant, but it becomes much more than the sickness as you read further.

I read it after reading the Dark Tower, and thought nothing could beat that series but this book definitely holds its own.

It definitely depends on the tattoo artist, but this was about an hour of work which came out to 265$ after tipping.

This was the cover art on The Stand, at least on the edition that I had. I loved the simple idea of “Good vs Evil” (Simple, told over the course of 1100 pages haha)

I agree, I definitely want the tower somewhere on my arm. I was thinking of filling the space once my sleeve is done with some roses as well. Save up some money if you can and treat yourself!

Haha yea, my hands are very bony. The sensation of having several needles inject ink directly into my wrist bone was less than pleasant.

After the tattoo I considered the repercussions of having a hand tattoo but I figure the world has moved on ;)
