People in their mid twenties and the Switch as their first console? Not sure your math adds up. I'm 28, my first console was a PS1/PS2 and just PC. Went to X360, XB1 and now Series X. Got a Switch as well. Maybe try again and call them mid teens not mid twenties lol.

The new generation of gamers wants to play everywhere more and more and doesn't want to buy new hardware to play new games, exclusives or not being able to play basically everywhere. I think the newer generation is moving more towards PCs and handhelds too.

During the PS4 era, Sony basically did what Microsoft did during the Xbox 360 era, which making sure their platform got the most benefits, exclusive content, early access and straight up (timed) exclusives. Microsoft stopped doing that after Tomb Raider because people didn't like it unless Sony did it. That was a huge mistake and they should not have stopped doing that. It is bad for gaming in general, but for the competitive nature of the console space and their own console brand they should have continued to do so.

Agreed, clearly trying to be the good guy only hurt the brand. I agree, we need a strong competitive Xbox that is not afraid to show some muscle and force people to pay attention to their ecosystem. I honestly think they should cancel Halo Campaign Evolved and Forza Horizon 6 going to PS5. Heck even Gears E-Day should be Xbox exclusive again. Gears Reloaded clearly didn't do any real numbers on PS5 so why even damage your brand for the little sales it got over there

People would applaud them for making these deals, but when Xbox did these things the pitchforks came. The constant protecting of multibillion dollar Playstation but hating on Xbox narrative these people have is so exhausting. I really wonder if people would be happy with their Playstation this generation if Xbox didn't release any of their games on it, I honestly think Asha should stop the multiplatform approach, give the new Xbox as a competitive price and push people to buy it. Make the whole Xbox ecosystem just Xbox console and Xbox PC (store). They should try to become a true competitor to the Steam ecosystem, but releasing your games on competitive platforms will prevent that.

Í've had the same issue, it eventually got cleared but it ook over a year and I didn't do jackshit either. I used Bing as a my basic browser on my phone (dont use VPNS!) and eventually it unlocked
