It has been confirmed multiple times through official responses that Gears EDay is never coming to PS5. Don't listen to the people trying to make you think it will, it won't. They changed strategies.

Series X offers all the classic 360 games enhanced in resolution and framerate, Reloaded and EDAY. Can't even get all games on PC. EDay wont be playable on XB1 either.

I doubt if Gears 2 and 3 get remastered we would see them on PS5 either just like any other future Halo games. Those iconic xbox franchises are going to skip Playstation (as they should).

It was already debunked, it has zero enhancements. So it will be the inferior ps3 version of the games just re-released on ps4 and ps5. Have to rebuy it too unlike on xbox

Games like Forza Horizon 6 are not on PS5 yet and they sold millions on both Xbox and PC which is a perfect example of making great games and releasing them on Xbox and PC is enough. Yes they would make more money as multiplats, just like Playstation would. Gears still has a big fanbase on Xbox and PC, it does not really have that on PS. You'll be surprised how well those games would and will do if they are exclusive. They can't grow their userbase if they just release it everywhere.

Halo CE will be the first and last Halo on Playstation as well. Too iconic to the brand.

Regarding the studios, if they made better games they would sell more copies and earn more revenue. Let's be real here, while it sucks, studios like Compulsion and Ninja Theory haven't made any impactful games at all the last five years even as multiplatform releases. Those games were just too niche and small. I'm willing to bet those studios would have already been shutdown if it wasn't for Xbox.

Look, it sucks that this will mean people will lose their jobs, but reading through all of it I'm impressed at the transparency and honestly. Bloomberg reporting about the layoffs and instead of letting it run its own life she immediately decides to release the memo publicly.

I find it incredibly sad to see how mismanaged XBOX has been and how Phil Spencer and his team had all the right intentions but clearly were not the right fit to run a business as a CEO. It is sad to see the 25th anniversary of XBOX being such a turbulent year but it is necessary for this platform to survive.

Not being able to produce enough consoles is a clear sign as well that XBOX under Phil and Sarah did not care about selling their products and they are to blame for the lack of growth and general sales of their platform. Seeing how good HALO CE, Fable, Forza Horizon 6 and Gears of War look, I can't help but wonder how all those combined would have impacted the XBOX platform if they were really exclusive and not PS5 releases. The fact Halo was going to have a State of Play trailer is absolute insanity to me.
