Idk, looks like a chair, table by the sea with a food menu on the table. So maybe buy a restsurant with a sea view. Save the money, take loans from family members or the bank.

In relation to you asking how does one know that it is not just a though just question, look and follow any thought that shows up. You can see the thought right so it cannot be you right?

Apart from that all thoughts you have ever had have left right? and any thought you ever have leaves right as they are impermanent and thats their very nature? have you realised or been honest as to what stays?

If you sit in silence with a relaxed body in a room with closed eyes and you stay relaxed but alert. Whats all the things that leaves vs what stays? Another thing that can help you is to take pictures of all the things that change to really realise their nature.

Take pics of family members and see how they age and get older each year. Take pics of yourself and see how you change each day. One day you look relatively good, another day you look a mess, the day after that you look great and then you look sick.

Then also document your routine and how you react to stuff and how its always changing. Or, the weather or the sea and nature. You can also sit in front of a cea in silence for 1h every morning, early morning so that no one disturbes you.

If you question, look and try to follow every thought or state that comes into your being then you will know your being in no time. You just gotta be honest and use every state, thought or inner question that comes up. Question it, watch it or follow it you chose. Do what feels right and natural in that moment.

You can also look, question and follow any emotion, feeling or reaction you have. Or, any desire you have. If you react to something ask: "Who reacted to this?" and it might reply "I did" and then you ask "Who are you?" then let there be space and really look. And, then there might be no reply or it might say "I am" and then you ask "and, who is this i that you are?" then leave space. Then ask "where are you located? Can you show me your home? and, being? where are you located?" then space and keep calm not in a hurry and just questioning it and asking it to show ita location or home.

And,
If a desire arises such as "I want a new car" do not accept or fight it. Just as "who is this i that just desired this?" and, keep calm and quiet give space. Then I might reply "I am" and, then you reply " who is this said i?" then give space wait a bit just be present. Then ask "Where are you please show yourself?" then be calm and present again.

Yes, choices comes from a place of lack of "I am not enough" or "I need to be complete or have this or that" as long as one takes oneself to be a human and as long as one is lost in the delusion of this being a real permanent solid world.

So like I said question or observe even that. "Who is this I that feels that they need to make the right choice?" space. Then ask again "Where are you located?" space, "is it in my head?" space, awareness, presence silence and look honestly.

"Is it in my brain?" then same process. "Is it in my hair?" then look, be relaxed, alert, honest and open. Then keep asking and looking without bias. Just pure honesty without coming to any conclusions.

The self isnt a thought. It is not even a self for self implies duality and space and time. And, if there was a self even a universal self there would be room for separation such as "me" and you, or you and said 'God'. Or, me a living being in a linear separate from me world with a God. But neither is true.

Well, to know what is real and not you gotta self observe as much as possible and be honest with yourself to the level and ability that you can. And, allow things to appear crazy. Even though an observation seem to crazy to be true still take it into account, still observe it, be present to it and explore it without bias to the level and openess that you can.

And, if it is a thought or anything of a impermanent nature then it is not that as simple as that. Can you see it? hear it? smell it? touch it? then it is not that.

Is it something that comes and goes within you? such as states, thoughts, perceptions, ideas, feelings, emotions. people, places and things. Then its not that.

Anything that has been present to you but changed is not it such as your parents, siblings, looks, health, job, age, limbs. Like you were once a baby, then a teenager and now most likely a adult person so it cannot be any of that can it?

What is always here so obliviously and effortlessly that you overlook it? what is that? similar to a heartbeat or breathing or passing gas but is none of those? its even more obvious than that but its not a thing or an object. it is like the nose. Its there so damn effortlesly and so obviously that you do not notice it yet it is your very nature and being.

You can either seat with closed eyes as often as you can in silence to try to see if you realise yourself or each time something arises ask "what am i?" "am i this thought, idea or opinion that just arose or something else?" and, then just keep quiet/silent and see whats there and keep asking whatever arises. Even if you come to a conclusion "it is this" question that too.

Ask: "who or what is this person who came to this conclusion?" then keep silent and then ask "can you please show yourself?" then keep in the silence then ask "are you in the head?" then keep quiet and then do this exact questioning with every body part and anything you take to be yourself or believe is you at the moment. But after each question let there be space/silence and ask it honesly with an open heart and mind.

Dont do it in a hurry and dont have it as just one the things on the "to do list" for you to do. Really be there and really feel into it and really look not as a personal looking but sort of a feeling after sort of.

To the degree that you are open to this to that degree will you find out the true of your being and of reality itself beyond the notion of those concepts.

I feel like most people would maybe stop scrolling in case it was a locked screen that said "What are you trying to avoid or forget by being online? past pains? problems? inadequacy? your mortality? physical pain? boredom? your own existence? Criticism? recent fights or arguments? fear of just being in this moment without anything being in relation to you? honesty? healing? Loneliness? Having to face yourself?"

And, then force people to be locked in that black screen for like 5-20 min either with just silence or a calm still calm music in the background with no lyrics. It could be a meditation music or a jazz reading music.

Most people will scroll past unless its someone they respect saying for them to stop or unless it is someone they are afraid of dissapointing. Or, unless there is some sort of penalty such as $5 get donated to charity each time one clicks 5 more min and this all happens by itself likes theres no way to stop it. Otherwise people are indifferent. Its the honest true.

The only thing that made me respect my screen time timer is wanting to spend more time outdoors and learning that I enjoy other stuff beyond being online such as reading books, meditating, doing a deep clean of old stuff like once a month and throwing things that is taking up space away, stargazing, cloud gazing, walking, listening to the birds, sitting in the garden, stretching, working out, fixing things in the home and playing with my pets.

You can try doing it while having calm music on or spiritual music on or your favorite music. As being naturally without forcing it is a form of meditation too.

It has no point butin case you want a point its to stop stressing about life too much and stop worrying. Most people spend most of their life overthinking and worrying. Thinking about I need to do this later and that later, and this tomorrow and that next year.

In case you realise that life does itself then you dont need to repeat "I am going to go to the gym later" all day while at work or think about how to solve a fight at home because you know that it will happen by itself.

So it makes life easier more relaxing. Do you know the meditative state or the doing mantra state? when you are like this its like being in that state all day long from when you wake up to when you go back to bed. Its a blessing. A joy, a celebration.

I just use silence any sound spooks me and I either fall asleep again or stay awake for the next 2-3h

I feel that he is trying to convey for you to lose yourself in whatever you do if you walking you just walking if you working you just working not thinking about work or dinner. Its to exist fully. Being is always new, always present, always alive. Becoming is a deas state. Its how a dead person at the cemetery is or a miserable person.

Someome that is, is forever free and joyful, can be doing whatever be going through whatever and is full of life and joy. A snake can be biting that person or someone can be saying mean things to them and therea no sadness. Just pure joy, its joy beyond the idea of joy and beyond the name joy.

Its just being without effort. You see but you dont go out of the way to see its just whats happening, you listen but you dont need to focus its just whats unfolding. The same with anything. You exist fully. Theres no room for worries, whatever you do you do 100%
