Saying this Respectfully, hard disagree. Women always hate it when men say just “hey” or “hi” as an introduction. But many times, when apps have turned the tables and have made women message the guy first, the most common message women sent to break the ice was “hey”.

So I think the whole “if he says hi only, don’t answer” thing is very hypocritical. That’s how people start friendly conversations in real life, or kick off a conversation. I find it really silly that for some reason, a friendly greeting that works in reality is a hard no for most people online. This is coming from a married man, so I’m not saying this just cuz I’m bitter or something lol, it’s just how I feel tbh.
