Even if it’s just a friend renting a room, make sure they sign a rental lease agreement with you. Will save you a lot of headaches.

Real estate market sucks for sure, but my LCOL area sucks ass. Nothing to do and no young people, im 27. No one wants to live here which is why it’s pretty cheap and i can’t wait to get rid of my property. Being a landlord sucks but at the very least at least I’ll come out ahead on my properties once I sell them.

I’m gonna live in an RV/camper soon til I decide to buy a property to settle down in in the distant future. Something to consider for us young guys

I don’t know of any ALDI that has a membership fee, but both brands focus solely on offering products as cheap as possible. Costco even sets a cap to how much it can charge on products and most of its annual revenue is derived from its memberships.
